Outlot Maintenance: 3 contractors are in contact for the work to be done. Lake boating and safety: Registration of 242 motorized boats, 284 non-motorized boats and 18 paid ramp keys have been issued. Stickers must be on boats-4th of July will be the deadline for violations to be enforced. 1 buoy was hit by a boat, Herb Steuer will try to repair. Condolence notice: Martha Coakley thanked everyone for the letters and kind words on the death of her sister. Section reps: Doro-thy Grauer reported an incident that the lawn has not been cut at 465 Lakeview Ct. and the house has been red flagged for construction with no permit. Board and General Member-ship: the presented slate has been accepted for positions moving forward: President-Bill Waligora, Secretary-Jody Senese, Trustee-

Mark Torphy and Section 5 rep-Victor Emigh. Dorothy Grauer is retiring from the board, a big THANK YOU for your service! Sections 1 and 3 will be appointed by the President. No election will need to be held in July. New business: after the abundance of rain people have drained water into the street which has gone into neighbor’s houses down the road-please be aware of where water will go. Our webpage has a link to Beach Closings and Water Results, due to the heavy rains the lake is currently contaminated. Section rep Jack Payne reported pulling an 8 ft slide and section of pier out of the water recently, please be aware of items in the water and please keep your pier in repair. Letters will be sent to remind members to repair piers. Marina Subdivision was discussed. The board was contacted by a buyer about lake rights. 4 lots encompassing the Fairways Boat Ramp are to be built. Currently they have no lake rights. Sue Shields questioned how many other lots will be built on around the lake? Bill Waligora and Herb Steuer dis-cussed that there are 80 acres known as Clay Point that could have 70 homes on 1 acre lots and 10 lots on 1400 feet of lakefront property, that would be separate subdivi-sions. It was discussed that waste district has to decide how many can be handled, if there should be a limit on water vehicles per household, 6 piers with lake access, breakwalls and piers will need same approv-als. Dan Lewis questioned “what is our gain” & “more houses scare him”. Sherry Emigh pointed out that the main lake should have boats stay farther away from the shore. Vic Emigh, Jr stated that people don’t follow the rules now, more people, more issues, lots of boats without stickers. Karen Taylor ques-tioned would this be the homeowner or board’s decision? Victor Emigh stated a big plus would be removing the ramp with ac-cess to the lake. Roy Dominguez stated information on any new building should be on our website and is in favor of a referen-dum to decide lake rights. Betty Dominguez stated the attraction is the lake and with building are lake rights expected? Robert Van Buren is building a custom ranch home on Lot 4, new homes will be an asset to the area and suggested an impact fee to help with care of the lake. Trish Cullum asked when do we need to have an answer? Bill Waligora said there is no deadline. Janice Meyers stated she knew Dean White would die and something would happen with the property, what is the sewage plan?

Geane Anderson stated 4 houses would be ok, more are not ok, our POA owns the lake, what about Outlot O for the new building? Helmer Claesson questioned the erosion from no seawalls, shallow water, looking at the original covenants and getting our lawyer involved. Danny Fagan wondered about dredging and the plan for dirt removal, also thanked the board for being “on our side”. Upcoming events: Saturday, June 29th will be a firework show by Island Drive, July 17th from 5:30-7:30pm is the next People’s Sup-per, July 27th from 8:30-11am is the Fishing Derby, July 27th from 11am-1pm is the Wom-en’s Club Back to School Bash, also July 27th is the Fire Department Hog Roast.
