With the goal of performing a high impact social activity, there was an ESR (Empresa Socialmente Responsable, Socially Responsible Company) contest in Jacona. With this, 14 preschools and 3 elementary schools were benefited through many improvement actions in the infrastructure and facilities of these establishments, benefiting hundreds of children, with an investment of more than 500 thousand pesos.

For the fulfillment of the mentioned competition, municipal authorities, directors of the company and other guests participated as judges to determine who from the participating teams would win the highest points; with the purpose of deciding a winner depending on the accumulation of points won throughout the annual contests organized by the company.

This Project has accelerated the diffusion process of good practices between processes and departments. It has been satisfying to see the process of sharing good practices is more common in the organization.

In the AFM IT Department we learned to generate an innovating idea, it is worthwhile to think globally from the beginning and not begin to develop something simple that will later demand a greater effort to turn it into a world class tool. This is how we have done this, and it has allowed us to count on more successful projects, like this article.

To count on a tool to receive requests from the Information Technology Department for technical support or ITD, known as Ticket System, had always been a need. In 2003, as a result of the ITD Strategic Plan, the FODA analysis again highlighted this weakness and the determination to do something about this was taken, originating the ASM.

Latinamerican Quality Award) which has published an article related to Agrana Fruit Mexico.

In every edition of this newsletter, a Good Practice from a Latinamerican Organization winner of the Quality and Excellence Award is included, as well as a description of the

tool referenced in the Good Practice.

The respect for nature and the environment characterizes our actions and our decisions. Our products are natural, they are developed and produced according to the most advanced agricultural practices, and this guarantees sustainability of the products while being respectful to the environment.

Technology is preponderant in Agrana. Because of this we can accelerate and make more efficient each labor developed in the field, adopting the developed model. In the case of strawberries, we are entering into new crops like in the case of raspberry, blueberry, figs and blackberry, among other varieties.

Ingredients:

4 tbs of gelatin1 lt water

1 cup sugar2 cups of Fruit

(strawberry, blackberry, blueberry)

Preparation time: 30 minutes.Portions: 10.

Recipe

Preparation:

1. Hydrate the gelatin in water covering it completely, let it rest.

2. In the container where you will prepare the gelatin, pour and fix the fruit nicely.

3. In a pot, boil one liter of water and add sugar, when it is dissolved add the previously hydrated gelatin and mix until they integrate. Add one cup of fruit, crush and remove from the flame in order for it to cool down.

4. Pour some of this mix in the container where you will prepare the gelatin (to avoid de messing up the Fruit); refrigerate for 10 minutes.

5. Take the mix out of the refrigeration and pour the rest of the mix. Let it set completely.
