Principal’s Report
The annual Swimming Carnival will be held next Monday at the Peninsula Leisure Centre in Woy Woy. All students in
Yrs 3-6 are expected to attend. Permission notes and the $8 payment for the bus & pool entry should have been
returned by today. If you have outstanding payments please ensure that they are paid by Wednesday. Only students
who have indicated they are competing in the Open 100m Freestyle (Senior students) should be at the pool at
8.45am. All other students should attend school and travel on the buses with their class. Please remember that
students need to be at school by 9.00am.
The Life Ed van arrives tomorrow. Please ensure that the permission note and $10 payment are returned this week.
The timetable of when classes are attending is included with this newsletter.
A reminder to all parents using the Kiss & Drop Zone in the morning that you are not to leave your vehicle. This
morning a number of cars were parked in this area which led to traffic banking up down the road. Please ensure that
your children are ready to get out of the car as soon as you pull into this zone.
Students who use the Kiss & Drop Zone in the afternoons have been provided with a Name Card which can be
displayed in the front windscreen. This assists in ensuring that students are ready to enter their car promptly.
To ensure clear and prompt communication it is important that the school has accurate contact details for all
families. If you have changed any contact details including your email address, mobile phone number or address
please contact the office to update.
Last week a number of our stage 3 students attended the Sth Central Coast Zone PSSA Football trials.
Congratulations to Jack Carter, Jerome Drobot, Airley Arnold and Natasha Ireland who have been selected in their
respective zone teams to participate in the Central Coast Zone Championships on Thursday 8th March at Killarney
Vale Oval.

PBL Week 5 Technology and Borrowing ResourcesThis week our PBL focus has been on how to be respectful, responsible and perform our personal best when using technology and borrowing resources. Students have recognised the importance of caring for equipment and returning them safely after using them. Our school expectations require students to be responsible by asking to borrow any school items and sharing resources within the classroom. Students are demonstrating their personal best by following teacher instructions.
