PLANNING UPDATE Since being chosen as development partner, Countryside Properties along with Hous-
ing Association Home Group are working on an enhanced scheme to benefit the local
community and residents.
The Peel development, at the heart of the South Kilburn estate, will deliver 308
homes of which 40 per cent will be affordable (increased from 19%). There will also
be a Health & Wellbeing Hub featuring a health centre and gym, an array of shops and
a new market square. The development will have a strong social value offer which will
tie in with the wider South Kilburn regeneration.
This planning application does not effect Phase 1 (Block E) works that are due to end
in Summer 2020. If the new application is successful, we aim to commence new works
in 2021 with a final completion date of the scheme in 2025.
