AUGUST 14, 2014 BY: ALEXY IRVING Dearest Beautiful People of St. Louis: We’ve destroyed a Quick Trip, been tear gassed and shot at with rubber bullets… But that is not everything we have completed. We have cleaned up thus destroyed Quick Trip, gathered in Clayton, shared positive words, peacefully protested outside of the Ferguson police department, got the issue spread to CNN and Obama and met with like minded people in order to arrange for some amazing changes to take place. Individuals who have never spoken up about any type issues in St. Louis finally gained a voice and people who were blinded about the fact that things are not all peachy have had their eyes opened. That positive change I said that would come from this, I believe its closer then I thought! alumni’s. The Millennials: A group from the new generation promoting social justice, exchanging ideas, and writing their own story. This is one of the first community organizations I have received emails from that want to reach out to the youth of St. Louis that want to make a difference. If you or somebody you know wants to be a part of this organization, they have arranged committees that do different but important parts for the city. These committees are: Education, Media and Community Organization. They have asked me to spread this message to everybody:

We are in the process of constructing a movement. If you would like to get involved in creating social change please sign up for one of our committees here: Commitee Sign Up Link

Notes: I appreciated all the support from the last issue and all the noise we’ve been making on Facebook. I want to feature some powerful words from members of the social media community that have something to say about the issue:

“Protests in north county are not working. The protests need to be moved to the justice center in Clayton from here on out. Consistent pressure on local and state officials WORKS! There are several cases where a half hearted investigation turns around and proper charges are filed due to public outrage.” -Aziza Binti

“People keep saying "We need more leaders." I say why not us? The need is obvious, the positions are open, and the potential I'm seeing from a lot of you is amazing. We don't NEED new leaders...WE ARE the leaders. This city and this country need US. Recognize.” -Josh Jones

“In the midst of this Destruction Send your positivity around. Sometimes Things fall apart to fall together.” -Muhammad Austin

If you wish to have anything else featured in the next newsletter, feel free to email it to me. Any new information or events, let me know. I am here to help spread the information and educate people. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope we can do something magnificent. Sending all positive vibes,

Alexy Irving
