❑ SP 06 Patch03 (28/03/2018)

With the release of SP06 Patch03 from SAP FC 10.1, the following corrections were announced:

• Overall, the SP06 Patch03 makes corrections to the HTML5 web client:

• Customized cell format not applied: ###,##0,.00;-###,##0,.00;"-" (SAPNOTE

2579355)

• Cannot print multi-sheet report with "To be set" grouping mode from list of reports,

favorites or schedules (SAPNOTE 2599359)

• Double-clicking in the "Select a Schedule" dialog box passes on wrong variables

to linked schedules (SAPNOTE 2603955)

• Opening double quotation marks in package schedule comment missing after

importing comment from file (SAPNOTE 2607579)

• Missing rows when importing data from S/4HANA into packages (SAPNOTE 2600108)

• Changing the reporting unit on a saved but not yet posted central manual

journal entry leads to duplicate amounts in the database (SAPNOTE 2604729)

• Versions of manual journal entries are duplicated or there are gaps in the

With the release of SP07 from SAP FC 10.1, the following corrections were announced:

• The SP07 corrects the following problem on the HTML5 web client:

• Values missing in reject file when importing from a table (SAPNOTE 2597957)

• Import status is not reset when file or options are changed (SAPNOTE 2423697)

• Number of selected reports to be printed incorrect (SAPNOTE 2423545)

• Aggregation not calculated for audit ID dimension when multiple amounts are

modified at once (SAPNOTE 2570848)

• Packages cannot be saved or closed when a package manual journal entry is

open (SAPNOTE 2643629)

• Aggregation does not work in reports and schedules if "Total after / before" has

empty intersection (SAPNOTE 2575208)

• When running reports, displaying complex dimension hierarchies can take

several minutes (SAPNOTE 2644116)

• The SP07 provides this correction to the legacy web client:

❑ SP 19 Patch 05 (12/27/2017)

The latest support package for SAP Financial Consolidation is the SP19 Patch05. It makes

corrections for:

• Starter Kit for banking SP8 now available (SAPNOTE 2561911)

• With the Windows client for finance, impossible to print multi-sheet schedules to TXT or

CSV files (SAPNOTE 2524127)

• With the Windows and Legacy web clients, Negative amounts not displayed

depending on the cell format (SAPNOTE 2442707)

❑ ICS 10.0 SP 17 Patch 07 (01/12/2018)

The latest support package for Intercompany 10.0 is the SP17 patch 07. It provides application

functional corrections:

• Emails not sent for Dashboards – Symptom Unlike detailed and summary emails,

dashboard emails are not generated under pickup folder. Error message in the log:

ERROR [Category: DataAccess] [User: XXX] [DSRRootContextID: ] [DSRTransactionID: ]

[DSRConnectionID: ] [DSRCounter: ] The specified string is not in the form required for an

e-mail address (SAPNOTE 2574541)

• Performance issue when generating a report - With SAP Intercompany 10 and the BI 4.1

SP5 (SAP BusinessObjects BI platform .NET SDK) or more, the duration to generate a

report with a huge of data is much longer than with older versions of BI (4.0). Under

Windows Server 2012, the BI 4.1 SP5 (SAP BusinessObjects BI platform .NET SDK) doesn't

work correctly: during the Report generation, the BI engine crashes. A workaround has

been developed for this version (BI 4.1 SP5 Patch08) and higher but when a report is

generated with a huge of data, the workaround causes a bottleneck. The new version

of the BI (4.2 SP5) fixes the crash issue under Windows Server 2012. The Workaround has

been deleted and the duration is again like before. (SAPNOTE 2577693)

• External Authentication issue when the user code is different from the Associated

External Login (SAPNOTE 2543205)

• SAP FC 10.1: Several problems of printing from the HTML5 Web client with Windows Server

2016.

In order to make PDF 10.1 prints work from the HTML5 client on Windows 2016 I had to

add specific registry keys to the application server. Without these keys when printing the

generated and recordable file was in this format {xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx} and without extensions

(temporary file and not pdf so).

Password Manager

Before presenting the description of this solution, a little reminder of its genesis. It was created

by Syslap in 2012 when the first major customer arrived on our hosting offer.

Before going into production, we then had several issues related to password management:

• How to communicate to a user his initial password?

• How to make users autonomous in renewing their password when not connected to our

Active Directory Infrastructure (and thus avoid opening an incident from our Support Team)?

• How to make sure that the end user is the only one to know his password?

❑ What is it for?

The Password Manager solution is used to manage the password of an account

autonomously (self-service) with a Microsoft Active Directory.

As long as you have direct access to the Active Directory via a PC that is related to it, it’s not

very complicated to change his password.

But if the Active Directory storing your account and your password is distant or different from

that of your PC, it becomes more complicated.

Password Manager allows, via a web application (without additional prerequisites for

workstations), to manage this remote Active Directory problem.

It offers user two choices:

1. Reset your password (for example if you forget it)

2. Change your password

The Password Manager solution complies with security requirements of the password policy

❑ How does it work? The Password Manager solution is installed on a server with Microsoft IIS server. Once installed

and configured, it’s accessible via a browser.

❑ Reset password By clicking on the link "Reset my password", the user is sent to a form where he must enter his

email address.

If the user's email address is known from the Active Directory, then an email is automatically

sent. This email contains a reset address for his password. The link has a lifetime of 15 minutes.

By clicking on the link, the user is redirected to a page where he can enter his new password

that respect your password policy

❑ Changing the password By clicking on the link "Change my password", the user is redirected to a page where he must

first identify himself with his account Active Directory.

Once authentication is successful, the user has access to a password change form.

❑ Who can use this solution? Any company with a Microsoft Active Directory.

It’s mandatory that each Active Directory account has an associated email to ensure the

proper password reset.
