POSITION: ADMIN & FINANCE OFFICERResponsibilities

· Implementing and managing the budget of the Center· Overseeing the general maintenance of all facilities of the Center through effective supervision

of the operations team and working with the rest of the university offices· Design work plans and revisions as appropriate to meet the changing requirements· Coordinate with internal offices as well as external contractors and vendors to help complete

Center activities· Suggest and develop new proposals for improving the overall operations of the Center including

infrastructure upgrades and process automation· Supervise general administrative and support services· Monitor, measure, report, and address HR issues and personnel forecasts· Advocate, promote, and implement a healthy, safe and creative work environment· Ensure that operational and capital expenditures are in line with the approved budgets and

provide monthly management and expenditure reports· Ensure compliance with all legal requirements regarding finances, procurement, and

employment· Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Project Director of the Center

Profile of the Ideal candidate

· Demonstrated experience with operations and management especially in a university setting· Excellent team building and managing abilities· Get-it-done attitude with very strong decision making abilities· Superior communication and interpersonal skills· Strong ability to negotiate on cost, quality, and timeliness· Thorough understanding of all processes related to administration· Masters or a four-year Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration· 5-7 years of relevant work experience with significant experience at managerial level.

POSITION: SENIOR MANAGER CONTENT & KNOWLEDGEResponsibilities

· Create and manage a repository of information most useful for startups aligned to targetindustry verticals.

· Create and manage online information banks, which bring best of research papers andknowledge to an intranet environment.

· Improve access to research data from relevant sources, which empower start-ups to developstrong business models.

· Assist startups being incubated with accessing knowledge and information relevant to theirbusiness models

· Develop partnerships with development sector organization for access to field data· Develop partnerships with knowledge development organizations for access to structured

information relevant to startups being incubated.· Aggregate and share relevant data on demographics, markets, industry verticals with startups

being incubated.

Profile of Ideal Candidate

· Masters or Bachelors with Honors in social sciences/ management sciences.· 5-7 years of experience on the Development and knowledge management sector.· Strong creative writing skills.· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

POSITION: SENIOR MANAGER MARKETING AND OUTREACHResponsibilities

· Managing the incubation center brand and develop equity for it amongst its target publics.· Develop brand communication to establish the brand’s positioning and create effective value for

the incubation center amongst target audience.· Articulate and manage marketing and sales activities for the brand.· Manage the marketing budget for the incubation center and ensure high ROI.· Oversee development of all marketing materials and sales collateral.· Coordinate and execute all marketing and sales activities.· Develop the style guide for the brand and take overall responsibility for the center’s corporate

identity.· Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communications.

Profile of Ideal Candidate

POSITION: MEDIA AND DIGITAL MARKETING ASSOCIATEResponsibilities

· Develop briefs for startups on how to define their brands/services for social and digitalmarketing platforms.

· Develop briefs for SEO and social media optimization of brands· Facilitate start-ups on developing their social and digital media strategies.· Facilitate startups on understanding social and digital media tools for monitoring and optimizing

their social/digital media presence· Facilitate startups in developing a distinct voice for their brands on social/digital media· Manage tools for monitoring of social media and advise startups on their positioning from social

listening.· Facilitate startups on developing launch plans and refining sections of their investor pitches that

deal with social/digital marketing of their brands

POSITION: MANAGER TECHNOLOGYResponsibilities

· Assist in the scouting and selection stage in identifying start up teams that have high valuetechnical vision and a reasonable understanding of how to develop the platform

· Evaluate the technical development requirements of any startup and match it to the skill set ofthe founders.

· Facilitate the startups in understanding what their technical requirements are and whereneeded identify freelance developers

· Facilitate startup ups in developing RFPs and technical development documentation required tocreate the platforms they need

· Facilitate startups in understanding requirements of app stores and how to optimize theirpresence through these stores

· Audit beta versions of products developed and guide start-ups on iterations to bring theirtechnical platforms to MVP stage

· Facilitate startups in calling on resources available in SSE to resolve problems faced in technicaldevelopment.

· Masters or Bachelors in Computer Science/ IT/ Software Engineering with of 3-5 years’experience in a top-level software Products Company.

· Facilitate startups in developing wire frames for their product development· Facilitate startups in defining UI unique to their product/service· Facilitate startups in developing the design document and visual scheme for their product· Facilitate startups in understanding the schema and architecture that needs to be developed for

optimal User Experience.· Facilitate startups in beta testing their product from the UI/UX aspects and iterating and

creating bug tracking to finesse the missing requirements· Develop and maintain a design library that can be used by startups to develop the best human

interface designs.

POSITION: TECHNICIANSResponsibilities

· Assist startup teams in development of product prototypes that combine mechanical andelectronic engineering for a range of practical applications.

· Assist startup teams in use of computer controlled and systems design engineering, for creatingadvanced prototypes of their design concepts.

· Assist startup teams in designing and creating engineering systems that automate industrialtasks, develop mechatronic solutions and electronic control systems for existing products orprocesses.

· Assist startup teams in development of the cost and performance benefits models ofmechatronic engineering solutions.

· Ensure Makers Lab is maintained to its optimum level.

Profile of Ideal Candidate

· Bachelors Degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering/ Computer Science/ IT.· Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology in developing

products.· Ability in applying principles, techniques, procedures, and use of equipment in design and

production of engineering and technology based projects.· Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision

technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models. Proficiency with CAD tools· Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.· Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips and how to develop prototypes Problem solving,
