The Wii, what is it?

• The wii is the fifth video game console developed by Nintendo. It was released in November 2006 and has sold over 35 million consoles in the U.S. alone!

• It is the best-selling console in the U.S., outselling both xbox 360 and PS3.

• It is motion sensitive, so the games use different motions to play. For example, in the game WiiSports, you swing the controller like a bat to swing your character's bat.
