Lieutenant Governor’s PageHey Division 20, Hope you’ve all being doing well! It was nice seeing most of you at the fall Regional Training Conferences. In this newsletter, you’ll find important information regarding the Project Showcase, Fall Rally, Trick or Treat for UNICEF, and Key Club Week. The Project Showcase information has all been emailed to you, and you should be get-ting a divisional mailing sometime this week. Remember, as an officer of Division 20, I do expect all the tasks on the following page in this newsletter to be completed by the deadline. Please remember, don’t be afraid to ask your club members for help! Also, as your club presidents should inform you soon, the deadline for the ELIMINATE hands has been extended until December. Secretaries, please remember to send in your CMRFs on time, and treasurers, remember that Early Bird dues are due November 1st! And editors: remember to make newsletters and send them to your club members, sponsoring Kiwanis club, myself, and [email protected]. Lastly, if you haven’t added me to your home Key Club group yet, please add me to it ASAP. It’s just a way for me to stay updated. As always, if you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

Yours in Caring and Service,Audrey Lee

Friday, December 9 to Sunday, December 11 Could be a life changing experience!

Kiwanis International’s leadership education program for high school age students Key Leader’s mission is: to provide a life-changing experience that inspires young people to achieve their personal best

through service leadership There are large and small group activities There is a mixture of information, discussion, interactive events and presentations NJ District of Kiwanis provides all chaperones, background checks are required

“Key Leader opened my eyes to certain aspects of who I was. Through the program, I learned more about myself through the Key Leader principles and what it means to be a servant leader within my home, school, and community. I think students, whether they're already leaders or looking to become one, should attend Key Leader because not only do you make friendships that'll last a lifetime, but the program shows you that no matter who you are and despite what you may personally think, you really do have what it takes to become a leader.“ - Nicole Darrah, NJ Key Club Governor

"I went into the program shy and with a closed off mind just counting how many days I had until I got to leave and go home. By the end of the program, I built amazing friendships, learned the value of team work, gained confidence, and learned a lot about myself in the process. It was an enlightening and amazing experience." - Roland Johnson, Union Catholic HS

“I walked into Key Leader extremely shy, anxious

and self conscious, not wanting to go. But I walked out happier than ever with a bunch of new friends, confidence and inner strength. It was an amazing experience that I won't forget. My only regret? Not jumping right in from the first day and participating

right off the bat. Remember, it doesn't matter if you don't know anyone. Because when you leave,

you'll know pretty much everyone." Monika Szumski – Roxbury HS
