It has been a work in  progress but we got there.  This will be a monthly Newsletter that will be emailed out to everyone, and will also be available at the meetings. If you have any thing that you would like to add to this newsletter, please email it over to me at [email protected] and I will insert it into the following month’s news letter. You can send pictures, articles etc. If you do send an article that was not  written by you, please provide source and original authors name that way they receive proper credit for their work. “Construction Sites” Chris Lewis Co-Founder We are all familiar with our state flowers, the “orange barrels”. Yes these construction sites can be a pain in the ass while driving but can be very productive when it comes to detecting spots. Don’t pass up these opportunities for possible great finds. When asked to give some tips on what to look for in finding a good construction site, here was my response: “Just keep an eye out for anywhere they are tearing up streets and especially sidewalks. Can be in commercial or residential areas. No need to gain permission hunting public streets or between streets up to including sidewalks. Between sidewalks and buildings is considered private but most people don't mind if it is already dug up. But they can kick you off. Obviously the older the area the better. Look for buildings / homes built in the 1800's. Remember, historical towns are usually considered off limits but then again if already being torn up I consider fare game

 NMTHA Changes and info.

 Meeting Time and day Changes: As Most of you already know, we have decided to move meeting times to Thursday evenings, as there was a lot of discussion about Saturdays being more utilized for Hunting. Meetings will now be held the firstThursday of every month at 6:30 Pm. At 4601 Juan Tabo Rd. NE we are meeting in the same area as

 before, just different day and time. So please not this on your calendar. If you have any questions please

 feel free to email us. [email protected] 

Officers Needed:We are currently still looking for Members that are willing to step up for positions within the club. This

includes President, Vice President, Secretary and News letter editor. If you are interested please let us

 know. Once we get a response back from everyone, we will hold a vote for each position. Please let us know whether you are willing to take a position or not. We will be keeping the board of directors as is for

 right now, these members will not be able to be elected for any postions due to conflicts that may arise.

Club Hunts:

We have run out of places to hold club hunts, Other than local parks. We need you as members to

 research areas of interest to hunt as a club. This does take a little bit of research; all info is readily

 available to you via the internet, and libraries. If you need help with research please let Chris know as he

will attempt to help or find someone who can.

 NMTHA Bylaws and constitution:

The bylaws of the club have recently been posted to the website, please read and follow the simple by laws

 of the club. This is for everyone’s protection along with the clubs. If you have any questions feel free to

 contact Chris (  [email protected] )

 Along with this added to the website, there is also membership form, and a liability waiver. Please fill  these out and return ASAP. You can either mail them to Chris Lewis @ 6501 San Antonio Dr #3301,

 Albuquerque NM. 87109 or bring them to the next meeting. This is a requirement of membership.
