NO FEARHE IS RISEN!
Matthew 4:23
Jesus went throughout Galilee,
teaching in their synagogues,
proclaiming the good news of the
kingdom,
and healing every disease and
sickness among the people.
24…people brought to him all who were ill with
various diseases,
those suffering severe pain, the
demon-possessed,
those having seizures, and the
paralyzed; and he healed them.
Matthew 28
After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first
day of the week,
Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the
tomb.
2 There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it.
3 His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes
were white as snow.
4 The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and
became like dead men.
5 The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid,
for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was
crucified.
6 He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he
lay.
7 Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from
the dead ...”
8 So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid
yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples.
9 Suddenly Jesus met them. “Greetings,” he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him.
10 Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to
Galilee; there they will see me.”
1 Corinthians 15Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you…
3 For what I received I passed on to you as of first
importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the
Scriptures,
4 that he was buried,
that he was raised on the third day according to the
Scriptures,
5 and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the
Twelve.
6 After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at
the same time, most of whom are still living, though
some have fallen asleep.
7 Then he appeared to James, then to all the
apostles, 8 and last of all he appeared to me also, as to
one abnormally born.
1 Corinthians 15:20 …Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those
who have fallen asleep.
21 For since death came through a man, the
resurrection of the dead comes also through a man.
22 For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made
alive.
23 But each in turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to
him.
50 I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the
kingdom of God,
51 …We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— 52 in a flash, in the twinkling
of an eye, at the last trumpet.
For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised
imperishable, and we will be changed.
55 “Where, O death, is your victory?
Where, O death, is your sting?”
Matthew 27:50
And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he
gave up his spirit.
51 At that moment the curtain of the temple was
torn in two from top to bottom.
Hebrews 10:19-20 Therefore, brothers and sisters, since
we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the
blood of Jesus,
20 by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body,
Hebrews 4:14-16 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to
the faith we profess.
15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to
empathize with our weaknesses,
but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did
not sin.
16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence,
so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time
of need.
Hebrews 7:24 …because Jesus lives forever, he has a
permanent priesthood.
25 Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to
intercede for them.
26 Such a high priest truly meets our need—one who is
holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners, exalted
above the heavens.
Mt 27:32
As they were going out, they met a man from Cyrene, named Simon, and they forced him to carry the
cross.
"Then Jesus said to His disciples, 'If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny
himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.'" Matthew 16:24
Mark 10:29 “Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied, “no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or
fields for me and the gospel
30 will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age: homes, brothers, sisters, mothers,
children and fields—along with persecutions—and in the age to
come eternal life.
