I hope your Christmas was a joyous one and that you received all the goodies you asked Santa for! May your New Year be a healthy and happy one! It's time to get your After-Christmas Party reservations to Debby and Karl Mueller. Don't forget to contact Pat O'Neill as soon as you can if you plan on bringing a hobby to the party. This is a great time for all old members to re-acquaint themselves with each other and new members to meet and socialize with those old members. Now is the time to work on your cars so they will be ready for our first outing in the spring. We only have about 3 months to that countdown! Here's wishing for a memorable and fun year for the Club. See you at the next meeting.
Your President, Michael J.
Quinn

NORTH HILLS HISTORIC AUTO CLUB MINUTES
December 12, 2010
After the Pledge of Allegiance, President Jan Smith asked if there were any corrections or additions to the Minutes of the November 14, 2010 meeting. There were none. Treasurer Jack Swaney read the Treasurer’s Report. The Club has $4,484.60 in its treasury ac-count. Phil Deakin motioned to accept the Treasurer’s Report and Michael Quinn seconded. It was reported that long time club member, Cy Nock, has passed away. The only guest present was Nathan Solomon (Quinn’s nephew) Neither Joe and Mary Ellen Galla-gher, Patricia McKenty, nor Lou Sebastian were present. Ron Libengood was present and is now a "real" member. President Smith indicated that Ken and Audrey Menke and Bud Glendenning won’t be renewing their memberships for the new year. Old Business: Michael Quinn reported that the After-Christmas Party was set for February 12
th. Guests are invited as long as they pay! If you have a hobby to share that night, please
contact Pat O’Neill or Mary Jo Phillips. Daryl Elliott reported that the Flea Market was on schedule but without a "food person" yet. Jackie Sheerer was not present to report on the Winter Getaway. After determining that we had finally reached a quorum ( 30 members present) to conduct the elections, the vote was held. The first vote for a director was a tie and a second vote was held with the following results: President: Michael J. Quinn; Vice-President: Jan Smith; Secretary: Antoinette S. Quinn; Treasurer: Jack Swaney; Director: Scott Elliott. No one has stepped up to take over the Summer Picnic yet. New Business: Car Show date is June 5, 2011. Joe Sommerville will be contacting people to see who will help out. The Club may be considering a class for "original" cars. Steve Illsley spoke about the December 15
th deadline for the Vermont tour. So far, he has 7 couples
going. He also announced that there will be no more brunches. They are too expensive. There being no further business, Steve Illsley motioned to adjourn the meeting. Respectfully submitted, Antoinette S. Quinn Secretary
