1. MOB Installation

1.1 Magento:

♦ Place files inside Magento directory.

Run below commands on terminal from your magento root directory.

♦ You need to upgrade module list by running below command.

php -f bin/magento setup:upgrade

♦ Then do index management by running below command on terminal,

php bin/magento indexer:reindex

♦ Then do cache management by running below command on terminal

php bin/magento cache:flush

♦ After clearing cache. Do logout and then re-login Magento.

Note:- This Guide is only for Odoo Bridge (Magento® 2 / Odoo 11). 4

1.2 Odoo :

♦ Place MOB files inside your Odoo addons.

♦ Then Restart your Odoo server .

♦ Then do update app list at Odoo.

♦ Then start your installation.

2. Connection Setting

2.1 Odoo Configuration at Magento:

For Odoo configuration below Odoo credential are required,

♦ Odoo Url

♦ Odoo Port

♦ Odoo Database

♦ Odoo User Name

♦ Odoo User Password

2.1.1 Odoo Connection:

♦ For Odoo connection go through below path

“ODOO CONNECTOR -> Configuration”

♦ Then click on “Create New Odoo Configuration”

2.1.2 Default Setting for MOB:

To change default setting go through below path,

“ODOO CONNECTOR -> Configuration”

● Order Setting :

click on “Order Synchronization Setting”.

○ You can enable below option here,

■ Auto Order

■ Auto Invoice

■ Auto Shipment

■ Save Magento order as draft state at Odoo.

● Other automatization setting:

click on “Automatic Synchronization Setting”.

○ You can enable below option here,

■ Auto Category Export/Update.

■ Auto Product Export/Update.

■ Auto customer Export/Update.

■ Auto tax Export/Update.

■ Auto inventory synchronization(During product creation it enable to sync

Magento inventory from Magento to Odoo).

Note: Product inventory can’t update from Magento to Odoo. It only export once from Magento by enabling

“Inventory Synchronization” during product creation from Magento to Odoo.

Inventory can be update from Odoo to Magento.

● Reset Mapping:

○ To reset all mapping data at Magento.Follow below steps.

■ Click on “Reset Mapping setting”.

■ Then click on “Reset All Mapping Data” button.

2.2 Magento Configuration at Odoo:

For Magento configuration below Magento credential are required,

○ Magento Base Url

○ Magento User Credentials

■ User Name

■ User Password

2.2.1 Magento Connection:

For Odoo connection click on 'Magento Odoo Bridge' Menu

Then click on Configure Connection & then click on Create .

2.2.1.1 User Credentials:

♦ Active: enable/disable (Only One Active connection allowed).

♦ Base URL: Magneto Server URL.

♦ API CREDENTIALS :

User Name: Magento Username.

User Password: Magento User’s Password.

2.2.1.2 Sales Setting:

♦ Notify Customer By Email: If True, customer notification/mail will be send during

order ship/invoice.

♦ Status: It will used to handle asynchronous process during order ship and invoice.(No

need to change it’s default value i.e. Enable).

♦ Inventory Update: If Enable, Product inventory will work during product updating from

odoo to magento.

Note:- This Guide is only for Odoo Bridge (Magento® 2 / Odoo 11). 10

2.2.1.3 Default Setting:

♦ Default Language: Selected language is loaded in the system, all product and category

translation will be synced in this language.

♦ Default Category: Selected Category will be set default category for odoo products, in

case when Magento product doesn't belongs to any category.

♦ Warehouse: Selected warehouse will be used during order and product inventory

synchronization from Magento.

After filling all details just test the connection by clicking on “Test Connection” button,

small window will appear with list of Magento stores.

Then select default store after selecting default store small information window will appear

with successful magento connection message.

After successful connection you'll got the MOB Dashboard when you'll click on 'Magento Odoo Bridge'

2.2.2 Default Setting for MOB:

To change default setting go through below path,

“Magento Odoo Bridge > Configuration > Settings”

● Products:

○ Create a discount/coupon product which will use in sale order to manage sale

order discount/coupon.

● Stock Synchronization:

○ Quantity on hand (Product Quantity will sync According to Quantity on hand

Field.)

○ Forecast Quantity (Product Quantity will sync according to Forecast Quantity

(Quantity On Hand + Incoming Quantity - Outgoing Quantity)).

● Sale Order:

○ Magento Payment Term (Set payment term which will used in Magento sale

orders.)

○ Magento Sales Team (Set sales team which will used in Magento sale orders.)

○ Magento Sales Person (Set sales person which will used in Magento sale orders.)

● Sale Order Operation:

Enable Invoice Status, Shipment Status & Cancel Status to manage shipment, invoice

and cancel option from Odoo to Magento.
