FUEL & THE GATE

In addition to the FUEL regular Friday night services, the event of the month was the trip to Camp Mini-yo-we the weekend of Novem-ber 23-25. Camp Mini-yo-we is a Christian camp in Muskoka that offers outdoor adven-ture programs and a safe place to grow social-ly and spiritually. Our leaders and youth always enjoy those retreats and are thankful for the support of the ICC family. The GATE continues to be a great place of connection and growth, with both social & spiritual elements. Towards the end of Octo-ber they held their Halloween (Hallelujah) par-ty, a night of games, cool costumes, snacks & fun! BG’S

A Hallelujah Party for the Boys & Girls Club was held on October 31 in the Fellowship Hall. The kids had a great time getting all dressed up, playing fun games and enjoying lots of candy! On November 28, the BG’s experienced a unique, hands-on, customized, live animal show, presented by Zootek. WOMEN’S MINISTRIES

The theme for this month’s WM meeting was “A Hand-made Christmas”. After a time of worship the ladies got together and made their very own Christmas cards. They had a blast coming up with their individual creations and displaying the finished prod-

ucts! Of course there were treats and hot chocolate to enjoy during the project! Thanks to Kim Robbins for her “crafty” expertise in planning this fun evening! MEN’S MINISTRIES

Novembers events: A number of our men attended Promise Keepers at The Hershey Centre in Mississauga the weekend of Novem-ber 16-17. Wings Night was on Tuesday, No-vember 13, and….ICC hockey is ongoing, with two teams playing on Saturday nights.

PRIMETIMERS

The Primetimers continue to meet on Monday afternoons for Shuffleboard. They are antici-pating their annual event to Cedarview Church in Newmarket to see their Christmas produc-tion early next month. Of course this is always accompanied by a visit to Swiss Chalet where they enjoy dinner together! SMALL GROUPS

WORLD MISSIONS SPECIAL

On Sunday, Novem-ber 25, ICC hosted missionaries, Gary & Marvelyn Schell, who are serving in Preto-ria, Africa. Gary pre-sented a slide show of some of the work

he and Marvelyn are involved in, at both the Cornerstone School of Theology, Cornerstone Assembly Church, and Child Care Plus pro-gram. He also shared a message about the Nations of the world, stating that the church should be a beacon of hope to the lost around us. Please pray for the Schell family as they return to Africa in early January. BLOOD DONOR CLINIC

On Thursday, November 22, Innisfil Communi-ty Church was the host facility for Canadian Blood Services. The Blood Donor Clinic, held in the gym, takes place every two months at the church. BENEVOLENCE

Clothing

The Free Shopping Night was held on Novem-ber 22, another great evening of blessing and service to those in our community. Food

There has been a great increase in requests for food over the past few months. Times are tough and many who call in are out of work and/or on disability. We are so privileged to be able to assist these families during these diffi-cult days. We are also very thankful to our Innisfil partners for their generous donations through food drives in recent months: Tim Hor-tons, Town of Innisfil, The Rotary Club, Sandy Cove Weight Watchers Group, Alcona Animal Hospital, Goodfellow Public School, Sobeys, Remax...as well as a number of individual donations. Being the recipients of these food drives has allowed us to stock our shelves and better serve the community.
