UndertakingtheauditTheaimoftheauditistostretchyourthinkingaboutwhatispossibleandisbaseduponideasandevidencecollectedfrommanydifferentestablishmentswithintheUKandinternationally.Itisnotadefinitivelist.Outdoorprovisionisnotastaticaspectofearlyeducationbutisdevelopingatasignificantrate.Thisislargelydueinparttotheavailabilityofresearchwhichallpointstothebenefitsofspendingtimeoutdoors,particularlyinnature.Itisalsopartlydue,tothehugegrowthofoutdoornurseryprovisionworldwidewhichisredefiningwhatoutdoorplayprovisioncanandshouldbe.Theauditisorganisedintothreesectionswhichare:
