SPECIFICATIONS: A. Section 230923 – Direct Digital Control (DDC) System i. ADD “Setra” to the list of acceptable manufacturers for Pressure Transmitters/Transducers (Hydronic) listed in Paragraph 2.21.D.1 ii. MODIFY Paragraph 2.21.D.2.a to read as follows: The transmitter shall be smart microprocessor based electronics Pressure Sensor: Industrial grade “Smart” microprocessor based electronics “hockey puck” type with accuracy of +/- 0.25% of full scale or better, plated steel body, .25” NPT process connection, 316 stainless steel measuring cell with silicon oil fill fluid. Minimum temperature rating shall be that of 353 deg. F (125 psig saturated steam). Units shall be rated for a minimum of 150% full-scale overpressure and shall be suitable for an operating static pressure of 200 PSIG. Provide with connection fittings. Sensor control signal output shall be 4-20mA. Housing shall be NEMA 4X epoxy- polyester coated cast aluminum threaded connection head, screwed access cover with o-ring and ½” NPT electrical connection. iii. ADD “Schneider” to the list of acceptable Actuator manufacturers listed in Paragraph 2.24.A B. Section 233113 – Metal Ducts i. 1. SPECIFICATIONS:

i. ADD new Paragraph 1.3 A as follows:
A. Section 033053 – Miscellaneous Cast-In-Place Concrete
B. CHANGE Paragraphs 1.3 A through J to B through K, respectively.
ii. MODIFY Paragraph 2.6 A as follows:
A. ADD Paragraph 4 as follows: 4. IEC contactors, electronic bypass controls and use of less
than three NEMA contactors for the bypass will not be accepted.
iii. MODIFY Paragraph 2.7 B as follows:
B. ADD the following to the end of Paragraph B:
The maximum size of the enclosure for the 50hp building chilled water pumps shall be 36”Wx24”Dx84”H.
iv. ADD new Paragraph 3.2 C as follows:
C. Control equipment having an enclosure that is greater than or equal to 72” in height shall have all four corners of the base of the enclosure bolted to a concrete housekeeping pad meeting the requirements of Section 033053 – Miscellaneous Cast-In-Place Concrete.

i. ADD Notes to maintain access through the west entrance and through the
single door between Room B3 and B2 for the duration of the project, see plans for locations.

i. ADD Keyed Note 6 calling for demolition of a portion of the existing soffit in Hearing Room 6.
