ILY
My family is the most important
part of my identity. Without the
support and upbringing from my
parents and siblings I would not be
the person I am today. They have
helped shaped who I am and have
lead me on a path for great success
in life.
ART
My grandmother was always very
talented when it came to paintings. This
has been passed down through the
generations to my brother and I. When I
feel bored I will draw or paint to keep my
mind occupied.

Ever since I was little I have been
raised into a family of basketball
players. I grew up watching my
mother and father play and also my
brother and sister. I have had many
opportunities through basketball. My
best experience was going to
Australia to play for the North Island
Netb

Netball is also apart of my
identity as my mum was very
talented within netball and has
coached me and my sister for
many years. In my home town
many people know our last
name through the occupation of
netball and has built a solid
family community within it.

Occupational therapy is apart of
my identity. A constant question
in the Dunedin community is
“what do you study?”
Occupational therapy helps
identify to others who I am.

Being able to cook for people brings
me a great sense of satisfaction.
Sharing and giving is apart of my

food brings a sense of self worth.
