BISMARCK, N.D. —Father Austin A. Vetter

the Bishop of the Diocese of Helena, the
Catholic diocese for western Montana.

marck, said of Fr. Vetter, “Thank God that
he has the courageous faith to say ‘yes’
and be a shepherd of God’s people. He will
do very well and he will always be a credit
to Christ and our Church and to his home
diocese.”
Bishop-elect Vetter will be ordained and
installed as the Bishop of Helena on Nov.
20, 2019 at the Cathedral of St. Helena.

STEWARDSHIP THOUGHT Jesus healed ten lepers in today’s Gospel. Only one (10%) came back to
say thank you. I, too, have received many blessings from the Lord – in-
deed, all I am and all I have is a gift! How and how often have I remem-
bered to thank Him?
Stewardship Thought: Stewardship calls us to generously share what we
have with others as members of one Christian community. Stewardship
focuses on our dependence on God which goes against society’s focus on
independence.
