All proceeds benefit the 2013 WIB Scholarships. We will have raffle prizes, silent auction items and a live auction. Bring your friends and co-workers. I am so impressed at how engaged each of you were and appreciated your participation. We had 49 attendees in September. Let’s try and increase our numbers for the Auction in October. RSVP early and save your money so you can bid on those items that catch your eye. Thank you for supporting Women in Business. SEE  YOU  AT  THE  LUNCHEON  AND  AUCTION  DONT  FORGET  TO  RSVP  BY  WEDNESDAY!!

WHEN: Tuesday, October 9  TOPIC: ANNUAL AUCTION  LOCATION: Riverwoods Conference Center    Buffet lunch will begin at 11:55 a.m. Cost for the luncheon is $12 for members and $14 for non-members. Those interested in attending should RSVP using the WIB website. Follow the link to begin the sign-up process. http://womeninbusiness.usu.edu/  NOTE:  If  you  do  not  pre-‐register  for  the  lunch  you  are  not  guaranteed  a  meal.  If  you  do  pre-‐register  but  are  unable  to  attend,  please  notify  Nansi  by  noon  on  the  Monday  before  the  program.  Otherwise  you  will  be  charged  for  your  meal.  Thank  you.

2012  WIB  Auction  –  Tuesday,  October  9  Riverwoods  Conference  Center

Aside  from  the  Annual  WIB  Scholarship  Awards  luncheon,  the  Auction  is  the  most  important  luncheon  of  the  year.  The  auction  is  how  we  obtain  the  vast  majority  of  the  scholarship  money  we  award  to  deserving  women  in  our  community,  who  are  working  on  their  education  and  career  paths;  it  is  also  one  of  the  ways  YOU  PERSONALLY  CAN  MAKE  A  DIFFERENCE!

If  you  haven’t  had  the  opportunity  to  solicit  donations,  please  make  time  in  the  next  week  to  work  on  obtaining  items  (need  forms  turned  in  by  Thursday,  October  4).  Remember,  large  and  small  items  are  appreciated  –  we  need  a  variety  of  both  for  the  silent  and  live  auction.  (Because  our  corporation’s  firewall  treats  many  email  addresses  as  spam,  it  would  be  best  if  you  would  fax  (435.716.2324)  your  form  to  me  rather  than  by  email.)

Thank  you  all  for  making  time  in  your  busy  schedules  –  it  takes  effort  from  all  of  us  to  make  the  auction  a  success!

Julie  Sanders,    2012/2013  Past  Scholarship  Chair
