Brothers and sisters: Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving,
make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding
will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. —Philippians 4:6-7

The announcement was met with cheering and celebration throughout the school. Blue Ribbon t-shirts were given out to the students and staff. WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY Come join the Women’s Wednesday morning bible study group in their new program starting Wednesday, November 8th at 9 – 11 AM in the Maximilian Room in the Rectory. We will be studying Bishop Barron’s “Seven Deadly Sins - Seven Lively Virtues.”
Bishop Barron uses Dante's DIVINE COMEDY to expose these sinful patterns in our lives and show how they are effectively counteracted by the cultivation of virtue through the development of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. This fascinating journey shows the path that God has designed to lead us to health, happiness and holiness. To register or for any questions, please call the rectory at 610-399-6936. Cost is $20.00.
St. Max is participating in the “40 Days for Life” Program on Tuesday, October 10th and Friday October 20th. We ask you to consider participating by selecting an hour to go to Planned Parenthood on either of these dates to pray the Rosary and give witness to God's love. As an alternative, you may select an hour to pray for life in front of the Blessed Sacrament on Tuesday, October 10th. Please sign up in the church vestibule. Planned Parenthood is located on 8 South Wayne Street, in West Chester.
Change for Life
The Knights of Columbus would like to thank all those who participated in its "Change for Life" program. We were encouraged by the generosity of all who participated. Your donations will assist local pro-life charities. We continue to receive the last of the baby bottles. If you still have one to return, you may give it to an usher at Sunday Mass or return it to the rectory. Again, we thank those who participated.
