Miss Woodford Succumbs at 68
An extended illness was fatal Sunday ([Feb. 9, 1958) to Miss Mary^UW. Woodford, 68, in the Caldwell Nursing Home, West-field. •< A retired former principal of the Riverside School, Rockville Centre, L. I., she had previously resided with her sister, Mrs. Frederick K. Barrett, at 42 Barker Street.

Born in . Elko, Cattaraugus County, she was a graduate of Fredonia Normal School and New York University. She had been a . member i of St. Mark's Methodist Church at Rockville Centre, later joining the First Methodist Church here.
Besides Mrs. Barrett, she is survived by a sister, Mrs. Leon West of Buffalo; a brother, Waldo W. Woodford of Dunkirk, and two nieces. '
Services were conducted Tuesday afternoon in the Terwilliger and Salzer Funeral Home. The Rev. Delbert E. Jolley, pastor of the First Methodist Church, -officiated. Burial was to be in Forest Hill Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
