After completing the immigration formalities we head to hotel for check-in. Khasab is a city in the exclave of Oman northwest of Muscat. It is the capital city of the Musandam peninsula on the coast of the Hormuz Straight between Iran, United Arab Emirates and Oman. Today relax at hotel and explore nearby public beach. Overnight stay at the hotel. Day 2 Jabel Harim Tour Today after breakfast enjoy the Jabel Harim mountain tour. 0830 hrs- We drive from hotel for Jabel Harim mountain tour by 4WD. Enjoy some of Oman’s most stunning vistas with this exciting four-wheel-drive adventure. While rug- ged, your vehicle will be enclosed and have air-condition- ing, providing a comfortable way to see the sights. Set off from the hotel and embark on your journey to Jebel Harim, which translates to Mountain of Women. Rising to a height of 6,260 feet, the peak is the highest on the Mu- sandam Peninsula. During your travels, you will appreciate views of terraced mountain villages, lush acacia forests and wadis, or dry river beds. After driving for about an hour, stop in a Bedouin village called Sayah. Situated at an eleva- tion of 3,000 feet and surrounded by palm trees, it is one of the peninsula’s most picturesque villages. Continuing your travels, you will soon arrive at the summit of Jebel Harim, where you will take time to admire the panoramas before returning to the pier via the Al Khalidya nature park. This excursion involves driving on winding mountain roads. While a primary guide will provide commentary at various stops, the driver/guide assigned to each vehicle will have a limited command of English. It is recommended that guests wear flat, comfortable shoes. The order of sights visited may vary. Afternoon return to the hotel and relax. Overnight stay at Atana Khasab.
