I. ACKNOWLEDGMENT

My on the job training would have not been successful one with-

out the help, inspiration and management of some people who trusted and

beloved in my capabilities.

First and foremost, I would like to thank the Almighty Lord God for this

guidance and for giving me patience t9o finish this training. To the administra-

tion of Polytechnic University of the Philippines Quezon City for accepting me

as their trainee. Thank you for trusting me in all the tasks assigned to me. Thank

you for being very patient when I am being disruptive during work hours

Lastly, thank you to my family, cousin ,friends and classmates for encour-

aging and inspiring me, for serving me up when I feel like quitting due to tired-

ness and for inspiring me all the way. Thank you so much.

II. INTRODUCTION

This training manual has been prepared by the trainee as part of the stu-

dents job training initiative in the subject “ On The Job Training’” for the com-

pletion of the students course requirements in Diploma in Office Management

Technology.

This training manual show that the students was able to first-hand experi-

ence office work, face problems in relation to the tasks assignment to him

and of course find evaluation to these problems. This manual shows that the

trainee evolved according to his performances base on the evaluation given

by his respective trainer as office personnel.

The efforts drawn in the fulfillment of this manual is remarkably com-

mendable, for he is not just filling every piece to meet the requirements but

gave so much effort to make it more illustrative to share what sense of learning

he had acquired.

IV. OBSERVATIONS IN THE COMPANY

What I have observed at: The staff was primarily organized and the

task and each responsibilities was designated.

The strength and challenges of this company is that they: Aside from

the task and responsibilities the officers and staff are performing multiple jobs

in that way there are very effective in delivering their services to the universi-

ty.

I think the best practice of this company is: Administrators and officers

are very flexible and effective in enhancing interpersonal communication

skills toward students.

My over-all observation in: The administrative process and system, The

Leadership and Professional Development program, the Organizational

Structure itself is awesome. Very strategic in the implementation.

V. PERIODIC REPORTS (daily, weekly, monthly)

What we do daily are the following:

assisting the incoming freshman during the enrollment

checking of files and filing of documents, also printing

tagging for medical to the freshman student

What we do weekly are the following:

retrieval and filing of documents for OU Open University and

masterals

retrieval of filing of documents for PUP students and Graduates

What we do monthly are the following:

answering phone calls, checking of grades, encoding, and

printing

During my whole training in PUP Commonwealth Campus I think the

problem/s that I have encountered is lack of filing cabinets for the new doc-

uments.
