The DNA holds very much information. Most of the secrets of our DNA still are to be discovered. The omics revolution gives bioinformatics a fighting chance to be at the basis of the next discovery!The goals for this course are modest. We just want to deal (in silico, of course) with genes and their regulatory elements. Today, we will start gene-hunting. Next Monday you will learn to operate the tools of the trait (genome browsers).
