To observe the Ontario operation and bring back suggestions for improvements to McD.

Ontario Leadership• Ontario supervisor responsibilities are:

- Create the plan

- Communicate the plan to Team Leads

- Track/ Monitor actual performance against plan

- Make adjustments if not on pace to execute plan

- Look for ways to improve the operation

- Track Productivity and Accuracy

- Address under performers

- Recognize/Reward top performers

• Everyone is required to wear safety vests, other PPE as needed

Suggestions for Improvements

• Supervisors empower team leaders to execute the daily plan (“run the show”) and get out of the way

• Increase sense of value/importance amongst team members. More recognition & celebration.

• Make Safety more visual around facility

• Install First Aid kits/stations on floor

• Communicate and Post Emergency Evacuation Plan

• Install more STOP signs at intersections

• Eliminate RESERVE locations. Make all ACTIVE

• Systematically track user productivity by function. Does Manhattan have“ Work Assignment” capability for users? (see next slide for example list)
