Subject: Meeting for Furnishing of Daily/Monthly online Data on electricity Generation Sir, As you are aware that in partial fulfillment of its obligation under Section73(i)&(ii) of the Electricity Act, 2003, responsibility has been vested on Central Electricity Authority to collect & record the data concerning the generation of power and carryout studies related to efficiency and such like matters and also make public from time to time information secured under this Act and to provide for the publication of reports and investigation. Accordingly, OPM Division of CEA brings out various reports on daily generation, monthly generation, PLF report which also involved in exhaustive analysis of Thermal Power Stations of various performance factors. All these reports are prepared on the basis of information furnished by various generating stations/utilities on daily, monthly and yearly basis in a time bound manner. In order to ensure timely availability of correct and reliable data of the generation and outage data from various utilities/power stations, the data centre, set up by CEA provides the feature of direct data submission by the generating utilities on daily and monthly basis. For this purpose the web based user interface using the ‘USERID’ and ‘PASSWORD’ allotted by CEA data based administrator has already been issued all the Power Stations of your Utility to enable them to submit online daily/monthly generation, outages and other data. …2/-

It is to inform you that in spite of regular persuasion, CEA is not getting online Daily and Monthly Data for stations of your utility. On account of non submission of online data by power station authorities data is being collected by Telephone, Fax, email which results in delay in preparation of daily generation and other reports. To discuss the issue related to non submission of online data and chalk out action plan, Chairperson, CEA will take a meeting on 09.02.2016 (Tuesday) at 10.30 AM at Conference Room, Second Floor, CEA, Sewa Bhawan, R.K. Puram, New Delhi-110066.
