are already receiving the lowest possible
rates offered by the state of Maryland.

transferred to UMUC?
For an estimation of how your prior
coursework will transfer, please submit
unofficial transcripts along with your
choice of major/minor to
[email protected] for a tentative evaluation
(TE). TEs take 24-48 business hours to
complete.
You may also visit www.umuc.edu/TES to
utilize the Transfer Evaluation System for
an estimate of how your coursework may
transfer.

4. Does UMUC offer online
and face-to-face courses?
Are the online courses self-
paced?
UMUC offers courses entirely online and
in a hybrid format. UMUC offers hybrid
courses at its classroom locations in the
DC metro area.
UMUC’s online courses are asynchronous,
which means that students do not have to
log into the class at a particular time.
However, the courses are not self-paced.
Students must follow the course schedule
and submit assignments by the due dates in
the course syllabus.
