WHAT DOES IT COST?In the end, it will have cost nothing. It requires advance funding to help Cal-ifornia Finest Hemp Farms perform the duties of the JV but your funds will be returned to you from the first revenues generated from your crop.

The cost to fund each acre in a Joint Venture, is $22,500 each and entitles you to a 50% split of the yield.

WHY ARE YOUR FUNDS USED AND THEN RETURNED TO YOU?Your funds are used to fund the crop and the services associated with it. WHAT ARE THE SCHEDULES FOR CONTRACTING, FUNDING, GROWING AND HARVESTING?Open enrolment begins the last week of October, 2019. We are accepting appli-cations for JV’s and are assembling a plan to help each member achieve what they intend to achieve with their investment.

A 50% deposit is required upon signing agreements with the balance due on or before February 20, 2020. There is a 10 acre minimum requirement and an 18% discount for all programs signed before November 20, 2020.

The JV’s begin immediately and end upon final disbursement (unless JV mem-bers elect to continue).

The first tasks upon forming a JV are to immediately acquire the genetics for your crops, assuring a better choice and the opportunity to start the nursery process earlier.

After planting in the Spring, the crops should be ready for harvest typically in 90-100 days. At that time, the crops will need harvesting to the specifications you establish in your harvest agreement.

HAVE CALIFORNIA FINEST HEMP FARMS DONE THIS BEFORE?

Yes. Beginning in early 2019, California Finest Hemp Farms, LLC. was formed to satisfy requests from others who desired to enter the Hemp space but needed reputable farmers. Following that, fields and greenhouse projects have been grown and fields sold, as well as entire crops.

WHY DO YOU NEED OUR MONEY?

Hemp farming is not cheap and requires a high level of investment to do. But if it was for us, we do not need outside money. The demand for funds is to ensure those who would like to enter the hemp space are sincere and committed to the goal of a productive hemp crop.

WHY IS THERE AN 18% DISCOUNT FOR EARLY FUNDING?

This reflects the savings we expect to achieve on genetics if we buy them early. If we wait, the cost of seed will rise with demand.

HOW MANY PLANTS WILL YOU DO PER ACRE?

This is a genetics question. It depends on the genetics we use. If we use a full term plant that grows strong, tall and wide, then we can do less per acre than if we use an auto-flower plant that will grow fast, modest in height and thinner with less mass. Naturally the smaller the plants the higher saturation. Whereas the bigger the plants, the more mass per plant and the lower saturation level. As a general rule of thumb, depending on genetics, we will plant between 2,500 and 5,000 plants per acre.

WHAT KIND OF RETURN ON THE ACRE CAN WE EXPECT?

I am sure you understand we cannot predict that in any exact way. We can however share with you that Hemp today is a valuable crop and an emerging market that has a long way to go before saturation.

That there is no formal market for it like there are for other crops such as Corn or Wheat, means it still is a bit of the wild west. These markets are developing. But in our view, a high value crop such as Strawberries, which can generate about $33,000 in profit per acre, is overshadowed by a modest hemp crop.

Hemp values at the time of this writing, are much higher than other regular Ag crops. If we do some simple calculations and say we use the full term plant genetics and NET 2,300 plants per acre, each plant producing conservatively 1 pound of smokable flower and 1 pound of biomass, we have 2,300 pounds each.

Smokable flower values, based on quality = $180 to $900 per pound Biomass, based on CBD % = $15 to $30 per pound

If we take a moderate approach to this calculation, 2,300 X $200 + 2,300 X $20 = $506,000 per acre.

WHO WILL TAKE CONTROL OF CROP WHEN HARVESTED?

Our business is to handle this product for you from seed to sale. We will follow the instructions in the JV Agreement.

WHO WILL SELL THE CROP WHEN HARVESTED?

California Finest Hemp Farms and California Finest CBD manage this process internally and will work to market the product well before harvest to generate income as quickly as possible. We may enlist outside agencies from time to time for these services, as buyers agents for you, the seller.

WHAT IF WE WANT TO KEEP SOME OF THE CROP AND PACKAGE IT?

We do not discourage that. However, we also offer packaging ser-vices as well as established brands if you are interested in an easier path to market.

4WHAT IS HEMP CBD?

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CBD OIL FROM HEMP AND CBD OIL FROM MARIJUANA?

First of all, Hemp contains naturally high levels of CBD and low levels of THC. While Marijuana produces low levels of CBD and high levels of THC. To get CBD oil from marijuana, special strains must be developed and hybridized, which means the oil is not being derived from a source that occurs in nature.

Second, CBD oil from hemp is legal while CBD oil from marijuana is only legal in specific states and for the treatment of specific disorders - mostly those involving seizures. That means in those states where it’s use is legal, you must have at least one prescription to obtain it.

Third, because hemp contains much higher levels of CBD compared to marijua-na, extracting it is much simpler and much less costly. Therefore, It’s available at a much lower cost.

Finally, while CBD oil from hemp suffers from some image problems thanks to its link with marijuana, its use as a supplement is still far more socially accept-able and less controversial than CBD oil from its cousin.

WHAT IS CANNABIDIOL, OR CBD?

The primary source of CBD in nature is the hemp plant, a botanical cousin to marijuana. Cannabidiol is one of several cannabinoids, chemical substances found in Hemp and Cannabis plants. Although there are several cannabinoids, CBD and tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) are the two that are most widely known. CBD Depot only offers fully legal Hemp based CBD products. Hemp CBD products do not have the psychoactive effects associated with the cannabis plant.

WHAT CONDITIONS CAN CBD TREAT?

There are literally dozens of uses for CBD. Many people use it to help control anxiety and stress, and it also has powerful antibacterial properties. Clinical studies have also found CBD receptors play a significant role in many health and medical conditions, including multiple sclerosis, cancer, epilepsy and other seizure disorders, inflammation and immune disorders.

HISTORY OF THE INDUSTRY North America was first introduced to hemp in 1606. Since then, American farmers

have grown hemp to be used across a spectrum of needs, such as paper, lamp fuels, rope, clothing and more. In the 1700s, farmers were legally required to grow hemp as a staple crop. Many of our founding fathers grew hemp and advocated its uses and benefits. Most notably, Thomas Jefferson wrote the draft of the Declaration of Independence on hemp paper.

The United States reversed its stance in 1942 when they realized the need of hemp for the war effort. The Department of Agriculture started to heavily promote hemp and began publishing the various benefits hemp offered (i.e. findings that hemp produces 4 times more paper per acre than trees). The peak of the hemp promotion occurred when the US government released a pro-hemp documentary called Hemp for Victory, which encouraged farmers throughout the Midwest and Southeast to grow hemp crops to support the war. This led to over 400,000 acres of hemp being planted during 1942-1945.

Shortly after this program, the US government went back to its original stance on hemp and the industry continued to decline. Other alternative sources, such as plas-tic and nylon were encouraged across multiple industries. This led to fewer farmers cultivating hemp and many hemp processors declaring bankruptcy. The last com-mercial hemp farm in the US was planted in Wisconsin in 1957. Hemp farming was eventually officially banned altogether in 1970 with the passage of the Controlled Substances Act in which hemp was included as a Schedule 1 drug, grouping this crop with drugs like heroin and LSD.1

HEMP MAKES A COMEBACK IN THE USAAfter almost 30 years of Federal bans, the US allowed businesses to import dietary

hemp products in 2004. In the new century, the applications of hemp started to diversify as hemp fiber was imported to be used for clothing and textiles. The first big win for US farmers came in 2007, when two North Dakota farmers were granted hemp licenses—the first in over 50 years. Building on this, in 2014, the Farm Bill was signed into law, which allowed hemp cultivation as part of university research in states that permitted hemp farming.2

HEMP FEDERALLY LEGALIZED DECEMBER 2018 Congress approved the final 2018 version of Section 7607 of the Agricultural Act

of 2014 (the “Farm Bill”), which received bipartisan support in the Senate. The Bill removes “hemp,” a variety of the Cannabis sativa plant species, from the Federal Controlled Substances Act (“CSA”) and legalizes hemp cultivation as an agricultural commodity similar to grain, meat, and dairy. Commentators expect the historic new Farm Bill to considerably encourage and promote innovation, development, produc-tion, and consumption of hemp in the United States.

today, researchers have confidently concluded this is not a stagnant industry, nor is it expected to slow down any time soon.

Hemp- and CBD-derived products maintain at least one distinct edge over their THC counterparts: the ability to distribute product through online sales. Survey data suggests many hemp and CBD retailers are not aligning their products along-side other marijuana and THC merchandise. With many retailers taking advantage of online sales, those who do offer products in a traditional store-front report their stock does not often commingle with products in a dispensary. Hemp-devoted stores comprise the majority of physical establishments carrying hemp and CBD products, while assorted-goods stores, such as natural grocers or boutique beauty and cos-metic providers, are the second-most-popular location. While subject to change, and possibly reliant on marijuana’s recreational and medical legalization overall, these early trends reflect a distinct difference in how hemp professionals are beginning to position themselves in the market against multiple facets of THC products and distribution methods.3

THE MARKETPLACE AND GROWING BENEFITS OF CBD PRODUCTSTo write about one benefit that CBD brings to society does not do justice to the

quickly growing CBD Marketplace where users champion the benefits to their friends and family, and public and private universities make regular discoveries of some of the benefits CBD has to offer. It is safe to say that the true and full potential of CBD remains to be seen but in our enterprising society, we expect positive news to continue for some time. Below are two articles that show great promise for CBD in society to treat people for ailments and conditions that have left many frustrated with modern medicine:

Israeli Study Shows CBD Effective for AutismIn the study, more than 80 percent of children with autism saw moderate to substantial improvement of their symptoms.

A study conducted by researchers from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and Soroka University Medical Center in Israel has shown that cannabis oil has a significant effect on the symptoms of autism, The Growth Op reports.

Autism can be difficult to categorize and study because it can exhibit differ-ently in each child. To date, there has been limited evidence that cannabis is an effective remedy for autism; this is likely both because of the difficulty of studying the condition as well as federal prohibition continuing to limit cannabis research funding.

Researchers in Israel gave cannabis oil to 60 children suffering from autism and polled their parents to see if there was a change in the number of tics, depressive episodes, or rage attacks.

“Overall, more than 80% of the parents reported significant or moderate improvement in their child.”

Over the six-month study, 30 percent of the children showed “substantial” improvement and 53 percent showed “moderate” improvement. The remain-ing 15 percent did not seem to respond favorably to the treatment. About 40 percent of the patients who improved with CBD were able to shower and dress themselves after treatment, 30 percent had better sleep, and 10 percent were able to concentrate better.

The study used a cannabis oil with a 30 percent CBD to 1.5 percent THC ratio derived from medical cannabis plants and not industrial hemp. Re-searchers cautioned that a double-blind, placebo-controlled study needs to be conducted to confirm the results.

5 Health Benefits of CBD OilsCannabidiol (CBD) is one of the 100+ cannabinoids found in cannabis and has been the subject of much research due to its many and varied medical applications. But it’s not only its therapeutic attributes that have sparked such widespread interest in CBD in recent years. The compound is also non-psychoactive (meaning it does not produce the ‘high’ associated with

Oils that are CBD dominant are referred to as CBD oils. However, the exact concentrations and ratio of CBD to THC can vary depending on the product and manufacturer. Regardless, CBD oils have been shown to offer a range of health benefits that could potentially improve the quality of life for patients around the world.

Here are just five of the key health benefits of CBD oils:

1. Pain reliefOne of the most celebrated health benefits of CBD oil is its analgesic (pain relieving) effects. It’s thought that CBD interacts with receptors in the brain and immune system to reduce inflammation and alleviate pain. Some stud-ies, such as this investigation published in the Journal of Experimental Med-icine, found that CBD significantly reduces inflammation in mice and rats – but it’s not only rodents that experience these effects. A 2008 review identified that CBD offered effective pain relief without inducing adverse side effects in patients.

2. Anti-Seizure PropertiesSeizures occur when there’s a dramatic fluctuation of electrical activity in the brain. Over the years, a number of high profile cases have raised awareness of CBD’s anti-seizure properties, but it’s only recently that science has been able to confirm this link. A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial published in The New England Journal of Medicine explored the effect of CBD medication on young adults with Dravet syndrome, a rare type of epilepsy with seizures that are often induced by fever. Those who received CBD experi-enced saw their seizure frequency drop by a median of 38.9 percent.

3. Combat AnxietyWhile CBD is most commonly used to treat physiological symptoms, there’s a growing body of research that indicates it can also be used in the therapy of a range of mental health conditions, including anxiety. A study by the Uni-

versity of São Paulo found that CBD significantly reduces subjective anxiety, leading investigators to conclude that “These results suggest that CBD reduc-es anxiety in [social anxiety disorder] and that this is related to its effects on activity in limbic and paralimbic brain areas.”

4. Fight CancerResearch indicates that CBD may be valuable in the treatment of cancer in a number of different ways. CBD as well as some of the other compounds found in cannabis have an antitumor effect and can amplify the death of tumor cells in both colon cancer and leukemia. In addition, investigations have shown that CBD can be used to stop the spread of cancer cells in cervical cancer cells. It is important to note that the vast majority of CBD and cancer studies are pre-clinical, meaning they’re not conducted on human or even mammalian test subjects, and the findings – while promising – should not be construed as conclusive proof that CBD can cure cancer.

5. Reduce the Risk of DiabetesA rarely discussed health benefit of CBD oil is how it can reduce the risk of developing diabetes. In a study published in Neuropharmacology, researchers set out to explore what effect CBD would have on non-obese, diabetes-prone female mice. Only 32 percent of the mice that received the CBD were diag-nosed with diabetes, compared to 100 percent of the untreated group.

In closing, CBD oil is an incredibly valuable medicine that can be used to treat a range of health conditions. While this article is far from an ex-haustive list, it does highlight just a few of the ways CBD can potentially benefit your health.
