The Orthopaedic Trauma Association (OTA) will hold a Comprehensive Fracture Course for Residents October 3 - 6, 2012 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.ThiscourseisanexcellentopportunityforresidentstolearnfromhighlyskilledorthopaedictraumasurgeonswhowillbetravelingtoMinneapolistoparticipateintheOTA’s28thAnnualMeeting.Thecoursewillincludeafacultyofover60OTAmembers.Itwouldbedifficulttomatchthecollectiveknowledge,experience,andcommitmenttoteachingofthisoutstandingfaculty!

Thepreliminaryprogramincludesthecourseagendaandregistrationform.Thiscourseisdesignedto:• Discussconceptsofbonehealing• Reviewgeneralconceptsin fracturecare• Discusspertinentphysical examinationandimaging techniques• Provideindicationsforboth non-operativeandsurgicalcareof fracturesanddislocations

Thecourseiscomprehensiveandcoversallanatomicregions.Manyinteractiveteachingapproacheshavebeenincorporatedincludinghands-onlabs,smallgroupdiscussions,casediscussions,andpaneldiscussions.
