Otway Offshore Project | 2021 – 2023 Summary | June 2021 1 of 2

Beach Energy is continuing development of the Otway offshore basin natural gas reserves to ensure ongoing production at the Otway Gas Plant, which supplies natural gas to the Australian east coast gas market.

Activities will run over several phases, starting with assessing seabed locations, drilling exploration and production wells and installing additional seabed infrastructure to tie-in new wells to the existing offshore platform and pipeline.

Key Activities• Seabed assessments to determine the suitability of

the seabed for drilling and infrastructure

• Inspections and modifications to existing seabed infrastructure to prepare for the new wells

• Drilling of one vertical exploration well and one side-track exploration well

• Drilling of six offshore production wells

• Installation of seabed integration and connection modules to tie-in new wells

• Connection of new production wells via flowlines to the existing platform and pipeline

• Connection of electrical and hydraulic controls that enable remote monitoring and control of the wells

• Establishing Petroleum Safety Zones (PSZ) for new wells and infrastructure

• Indicative timings are below, for more details see Drilling Locations and Timings information sheet.
