ALTAR SERVER TRAINING

There will be an Altar Server training session next

Saturday, November 7, from 10:00 am-11:00 am in

the church. For more information, please contact

Joan Agen at [email protected]

On Monday, October 26, at 7:00pm, we held an open

meeting to discuss new fundraising

and stewardship ideas for the parish, as well as our

visions and dreams for the future. Thank you to all

who attended and for all the great ideas!

A few of the fundraising events discussed included:

* Hosting a Silent Auction

* Raffles and 50/50s

* A car show

Some of the visions for the future included:

* A youth minister

* More social events to meet members of your

church family

* An outreach program for divorced Catholics

If you have an idea for an event, thoughts on how to

be better stewards or a vision for your church

but were unable to attend the meeting last night,

please contact Joe Dagney, Stewardship Chair at

[email protected], Bill Mann, Pastoral Council

Chair, at [email protected], or Mary Wishneski,

Parish Business Manager, at

[email protected].

We welcome all suggestions and ideas!

Rosary and Devine Mercy

Intercessory Prayer

On Monday evenings at 7:00pm in the church, we

will gather to pray the Rosary and the Devine Mercy

Chaplet in intercession for families, and especially for

those suffering with or dealing with substance abuse

issues. We plan to finish by 8:00 pm.

This particular intercessory prayer is also in response

to the “Year of Mercy” which begins on December 8.

Everyone is welcome. If there is a large framed

picture of Devine Mercy available for use, please let

us know.

For more information contact Sue Havey at 610-593-

2904 or email, [email protected].

Thank you and God bless you!

This is important: to get to know people, listen, ex-

pand the circle of ideas.

The world is crisscrossed by roads that come closer

together and move apart, but the

important thing is that they lead towards the Good.

Once again, we will feature “Grandma’s Attic” at this annual event. If you would like to donate any resale

items, please drop them off at the Parish Center prior to the event on 11/21. We ask that donated items be

in New or Gently Used condition (no clothing or large items as space is limited).

Volunteers are needed. If you can help, please visit our school website at www.olcelc.com.

The Volunteer Spot link is on our home page.

Many opportunities are available. As always, we greatly appreciate the support of our preschool and

church families!

social, spiritual, and service opportunities in the local

area. Join us Wednesday, November 4, for our

monthly Praise & Worship Adoration. Holy Hour

begins at 7:30 pm in the lower chapel of St. Agnes in

2ND ANNUAL MEMORIAL CROSS WALK

THROUGH DOWNTOWN WEST CHESTER

We will gather in the parking lot behind St. Agnes'

Catholic Church, 233 W. Gay Street at 1:30 pm,

today, Sunday, Nov 1. There we will receive our

white Memorial Cross to carry.

Your participation in this event last year made the

walk a total success for the unborn. Again, we need

the generous gift of your time. We need at least 60

people to participate in order to make it as impres-

sive as last year. The more people participating, the

more signs that can be carried which reinforces the

plight of the unborn.

The walk will culminate at the Knight's of Columbus

Hall, 110 W. Market St. A light lunch will be served

giving us time for fellowship and to enjoy each oth-

er's company
