Daily Mass Readings, Feast Days & Intentions

We have done it! Glory to God the renovations are complete! Thank you for your hard work, dedication and patience to complete the project. The sanctuary is an edifying and beautiful place to worship and pray. Liturgies are engaging, led by Father James with the assistance of choirs, liturgists and altar servers. We are pleased substantial growth among the congregation. One parishioner shared with us: “We don’t know how long the Mass is, as we don’t check our watches until we get home!” Your participation in our liturgy is vital; thank you. Operating expenses for the parish are slightly over $600.00 a day. “Weekly offerings” and volunteer-led fundraisers endow the parish’s daily expenditures. The “Building Fund”; as well as, bingos and Memorial Fund donations were established to pay for building improvements and for the loan from the Archdiocese. Expenses for 2018 exceeded weekly offerings and fundraisers; therefore, we were unable to apply as much to our loan as we had desired.

We Appeal to Parishioners to Kindly Consider Increasing Contributions To help with the above notation, we would appreciate an increase in contributions. If you are not a regular donor, please consider becoming one. Donations made to the church are tax deductible and income tax receipts are issued. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to contact any of us below, or you may use the suggestion box in the church foyer for your comments. Respectively submitted, Our Lady of Peace Finance Council Fr. James, Dennis Gibbs, Miles Lozinsky, Anita Rieger-Burns, Jackie Bahan, Maurice Raboud, Lukose Luka, Ken Sparrowhawk, Brian Martens (Parish Council Chair) Roger Bertrand, Stacy Grunert, Robert Barr.
