De la lectura evangélica: "Porque Dios amó tanto al mundo que le dió a su único Hijo, para que todos los que creyeran en
él no muerieran, sino que tuvieran vida eterna. Porque Dios no envió a su Hijo al mundo para ser su juez, sino para ser su salvador" (Juan 3, 16-17).
Reflexión:
Algunos expertos bíblicos consideran que estos dos versículos son el mejor resumen de todas las Sagradas Escrituras, porque: Primero, contienen un hermoso resumen de la Biblia. En segundo
lugar, contienen una hermosa ilustración de cómo encajan el Antiguo Testamento y el Nuevo Testamento. En tercer lugar, ilustran cómo, si tenemos fe en Jesús, también siempre podremos
sacar algo bueno incluso de los peores escenarios. Finalmente, ilustran cómo Jesús nos da la vida de la gracia, necesaria para que podamos pasar
de esta tierra al cielo.
Por lo tanto, nos preguntamos: ¿Qué fue lo primero que despertó mi interés por Jesús? ¿Cómo fue eso?
¿Dónde estoy, en este momento, en el proceso de gestación de la vida espiritual? ¿Aún no he sido concebido? ¿Ya estoy en desarrollo, pero nadie lo ha notado? ¿Ya se está notando la
preñez? ¿Estoy pateando ya en el seno de mi madre? ¿Creciendo todos los días? ¿Cuándo empecé a ver a Dios salvándome, en lugar de condenándome?

From the Gospel reading: “For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that
everyone who believes in him may not die but have eternal life. For God did not sent his Son into the world to be its judge, but to be its savior”
(John 3, 16-17).
Reflection: Some Bible experts consider these two verses to be the best summary of the
whole Sacred Scriptures, because: First, they contain a beautiful summary of the Bible. Second, they contain a beautiful illustration of how the Old Testament and the New Testament fit
together. Third, they illustrate how, if we have faith in Jesus, we can also always get something good even from the worst scenarios. Finally, they illustrate how Jesus is our lifeline as we pass
from earth to heaven; He supplies us with life-giving grace.
So, we ask ourselves: What first aroused my interest in Jesus? Why?
Where am I right now in the birthing process of spiritual life: Not yet conceived? Developing, but not so anyone could tell? Heavy with child and waiting? Kicking and screaming like an
infant? Growing daily? When did I begin to see God as saving me, rather than condemning me?

rrounding the church desperately need our attention. On Saturday, March 27th, beginning at 9 A.M., vo-

2021 – Año de San José El Papa Francisco convoca a un «Año de San José» Con la Car-ta apostólica Patris Corde (Con corazón de padre), el Pontífice recuer-da el 150 aniversario de la declaración de san José como Patrono de la Iglesia Universal y, con motivo de esta ocasión, a partir del 8 de di-ciembre del 2020 y hasta el 8 de diciembre de 2021 se celebra un año dedicado especialmente a él. Oración a San José “¡Enséñanos!”: Enséñanos, José, cómo no ser protagonista, cómo se trabaja sin exhibirse, cómo se avanza sin pisotear, cómo se colabora sin ma-nejar, cómo se ama sin reclamar. Dinos cómo se vive siendo número dos… o tres, cómo se hacen cosas formidables desde un segundo lu-gar. Dinos cómo la inmensa mayoría de nosotros tendremos que ocu-par estos puestos. Los segundos lugares, en los que está nuestra ver-dadera y oculta grandeza. Dinos cómo se vive con elegancia siendo no importante. Convéncenos de que se puede y debe ser útil, fiel, efecti-vo, hasta héroe, siendo “no importante”. Explícanos cómo se es gran-de sin exhibirse, cómo se lucha sin aplausos, cómo se avanza sin pu-blicidad, cómo se persevera y se muere sin que nos hagan estatuas u homenajes. Cómo se hace para ser útil, positivo, generoso sin necesi-dad de ser “importante” y todavía más difícil, cómo se hace para darlo todo, sin ser protagonista, y a pesar de ello, sentir por dentro una paz, una felicidad, un gozo profundos. ¡Enséñanos, José!
