The abandoned house
Last week Sam and Paul were visiting their grandmother in the north of town.
The moon was shining in a dark night when they saw a girl alone in a big
abandoned house and they went to play there, but something strange happened.
When they arrived at this house, they started to play with her. She said her
name was Pamela and she lived alone because her parents weren’t living there.
After that, while Sam and Paul were walking along the garden, Pamela appeared
between the trees with a black flower for Sam. Paul, terrified, ran to his
grandmother’s house to tell her about the horrible situation. Meanwhile, Sam
continued there. When she received the flower she felt very scared and nervous.
The moment their grandmother arrived at the house she didn’t see Sam. She
could only see only a dress flying in the air, Paul told her that it was Sam’s dress.
Pamela wasn’t there anymore.

Alan and the nightmare
A tale by Giraudo Guillermina and Mié Luisina
Alan and his wife, Alice, travelled to the Washington state Mountain town of Bright
Falls for a short vacation, on the advice of Alice and her friend agent Barry Wheeler.
Before arrival, Alan had a nightmare about shadowy figures who tried to harm him
and an ethereal figure that interrupted his dream and taught him how to use light
to fight the shadows.
On their arrival, Alan got the keys and map to their rented cabin, unaware that the
woman supplying the keys wasn’t the landlady. But Alan never got to the cabin. He
regained consciousness a week later, apparently after driving his car off the road.
He had no memory of how he got there.
He started to head back towards town, but his progress was hampered by shadowy
figures that tried to harm him. He remembered his dream and found some papers
of a manuscript scattered about. The manuscript was of a work called “Departure”
with his name as the by-line. But Alan couldn’t remember writing it.
ANEXO 7
He followed her
A tale by Sofía Agnasse, Tamara Mescheller and Axel Trulli
This was in Calchaquín in the early 40’s. The ruins of the Robeledo house had a
new inhabitant: the homeless Louis.
A group of kids used to go to the house every weekend and tell horror stories
without knowing that there was someone, in the other room, that was listening to
everything.
The homeless fixed his eyes on a girl. He liked her. He looked at her all the time.
He looked at her so much that he finally fell in love with her without knowing
anything about her. He was crazy in love with her and started following her. He
was so crazy about the girl that one day he walked into her room just to watch her
sleep from that distance, or what he thought was distant. One n ight she woke up
and started screaming. Louis ran away. When her parents entered the room there
was nobody and no one believed her. Not her boyfriend neither her friends. So she
thought that she was crazy, but this visitor kept appearing in her room every night.
She couldn´t stand it anymore and finally decided to live in peace and left the
house.
The next day, Louis walked into Kelly’s room but he didn’t see her. He walked into
all the house’s rooms but didn’t find anybody. He went back to the Robeledo house
hopping to find her there, but it wasn’t like that.
The next day he heard about her. She killed herself. She had no reasons to live.
With his heart broken and hopeless he decided to follow her one last time…
ANEXO 8
Not alone.
A tale by Emelí Mandrile and Carolina Vergara
I said goodbye when my parents went to Buenos Aires. I was very happy I was
alone at home. I was walking to the kitchen when I heard a strange sound in my
bedroom.
I thought it was my pet, but my cat was sleeping in my bedroom. Suddenly my
heart bumped when I heard the sound of the shower. I realised I was not alone.
ANEXO 9
The thing
A tale by Evelyn Foulkes, Agostina y Lucía Peretti and Victoria Verrelli
All the time I felt observed. When I closed my eyes to wash my face, while I was
walking along that long and dark hallway of my house, even when I slept. There
weren’t many moments that I could enjoy the calm… until it became disturbing
and suspicious. This day I was dreaming of a horrible thing. It was in front my bed
watching me while I slept. Its eyes were two brilliant points different from a shadow.
I woke up at 8:00 a.m and I started my day feeling more paranoiac than ever. In
the office while I was drinking my coffee I felt its eyes looking at me. When I arrived
to my house I decided to rest, and I felt its eyes staring at me. While I was having
a shower … when I was eating…I could feel it over me all the time, it was
unbearable!! And the most curious thing was that I looked to the right, to the left,
I looked down, but there was nothing there! When days were finally over I went to
my bed with the feeling that sleeping was not an option but anyway I closed my
eyes looking at the roof. The feeling was back, and for a strange reason, I decided
to open my eyes. Oh! What a hell of a moment! This!, that thing, was there! On my
roof, with its brilliant eyes on me, just like in my dream.

Country House
A tale by Bravo Loana, Martinez Agostina and Quaranta Florencia
My cousin told me that in the house where she lived, strange things happened,
something bad, and my aunt said that since she lives there she didn’t feel quiet
and she was frequently ill. She said that at night she heard noises, scratches on
the wall, dogs howling, and when she went to see she saw a dark figure of a man.
One day my mom and I decided to go on a picnic to my cousin’s house. When we
arrived, the place was beautiful, it was near a lake with lots of vegetation. From the
moment we arrived I felt uncomfortable, as if there would be something in the
environment that I didn´t like. It was early in the evening and I started to feel afraid.
Everyone went inside, I was a bit further behind. I didn’t think twice and ran inside
the house with my family. After a week, they left the house and found out that
other people saw the devil, fire and heard screams, dogs howling and other things.
That house, until today, continues abandoned.
ANEXO 11
Horror on the beach
A tale by Agostina Brusco and Candela Sudano
It was a sunny day and with my family we went to the beach. When we arrived, the
place was full of people and we found a place near the sea.
My children were building sand castles and my wife was sunbathing, so I decided
to walk along the sea coast. While I was walking, I saw that people were scared,
desperate and there was a lot of shouting.
I ran to the mess and saw with my own eyes what was happening there: a child
was being sucked by a big black hole on the sand. The little boy shouted and called
for help, but nobody helped him. Finally, the child fell down into the hole, that each
minute got bigger and bigger. People started to fall down and I fell down, too.
Now I’m here a long time ago and I’m waiting to return with my family in another
world. But I’m also waiting for you.
ANEXO 12
The mysterious visitor
A tale by Delfina Alassia, Donatella Delfabro and Trinidad Pignatta
It was a summer night at the hospital and there were a lot of people. One woman
entered Peter’s room with flowers and chocolate. Peter did not know who she was.
He asked her name and she said: I am Anna Smith.
Peter: - “Thank you very much for the gift, Anna” while she disappeared. Peter,
scared, called the nurse.
Nurse: what’s up?
Peter: A Mrs Anna Smith was here. Do you know who she is?
Nurse: Anna smith?! (said the nurse surprised)
Peter: Yes, Yes!
Nurse: Mrs Anna Smith died in this room in 1942!
ANEXO 13
The Dog
A tale obtained at
http://muchosmisterios.blogspot.com.ar/2009/09/historia-de-terror-la-nina-y-el-perro.html and translated by
Victoria Hessel
This happened in a small town in Belarus and was in all the local newspapers.
A 13 year-old girl, the only child of parents of great influence, had everything a girl
wanted, but with unparalleled solitude. Her parents used to go to parties and
charity events and left her alone. Everything changed when they bought a puppy.
Time passed and the girl and the dog became inseparable. The dog always slept
under her bed. One night, while her parents were having dinner with friends, the
girl went to sleep with her dog under the bed. She was sleeping when a loud noise
woke her up. She felt scratches in her arm. She fearfully reached down for the dog
to lick her arm, it was like a code between her and the dog. She calmed down and
fell asleep again.
When she woke up in the early morning she discovered something frightening. In
the bathroom mirror there was a message written in blood that said: “Not only dogs
lick” and she uttered a cry of terror on seeing her dog crucified on the floor of her
room.
It is said that when her parents entered her room she was totally upset and just
saying: “Who licked me?”
The whereabouts of this girl are not understood, and the dog’s body was intact
there in the room, like a sculpture time cannot change.
It is said that when the girl returned from hospital the dog began to deteriorate to
be nothing more than dust.
They also say it is the beginning of a new era of evil.
ANEXO 14
The nightmare
A tale adapted by Tomas Chaparro, Luciano Romero, Tomás Sola.
Again three in the morning. Why is it that I always wake up at that hour? It’s a
habit impossible to break since I’m not the one who decided to wake up at that
particular time. As always, I heard noises downstairs in the living room (my room
was upstairs), but this time I decided not to ignore them as I used to. I took courage
and decided to go down. Obviously everything was dark, but, with difficulty I
distinguished two red dots at the back of the room. I tried to find the light switch
but I couldn’t. I was shaking. Those two points could be anything but for some
reason I was scared. I gathered all the courage that was possible and I walked a
few steps. When I managed to distinguish what bothered me so much, I could see
those red dots were two red eyes, eyes of the strangest creature I had ever seen. I
tried to run away but fear paralysed me, leaving me there, still and vulnerable. The
creature started curling around my weak body with so much force that took my
breath away. I didn’t want to die. I still had the strength to think that this was not
a nightmare because the pain was real. Why? Those were my last words, I was
dying.
- Tito, Tito, wake up! It’s the fifth time I try to open your eyes. You are going to be
late for school.
With difficulty I opened my eyes. It was all a dream, a nightmare. I tried to sit up,
but I could feel a terrible pain in my body. Something in my wrists caught my
attention. There were two red dots of blood. At that point I realised it was true, It
wasn’t a dream. It was a nightmare created to torment me until my last breath,
something endless
ANEXO 15
A bad dream
A tale by Valeria Díaz and Dana Gomez
When I finished my lunch, I went to bed. While I was sleeping I heard a noise in
the next room. I woke up and called my cat, but it wasn’t there. I thought it was a
joke. I was nervous. I went to the kitchen and while I was walking, I heard someone
crying. I went outside and I saw a little girl in the garden. She had long hair and I
couldn’t see her eyes. I was really scared. I took my phone and when I was calling
the police she came to me.
I ran and opened the door. While I was going upstairs, she followed me. I stopped
and asked her: “What do you want?” While I was looking at her, she walked to the
hall. I went to the bathroom and started to cry. While I was looking at myself in the
mirror I heard a scream. The girl was in the corner of the bathroom. “Go away!” I
said. I woke up. It was all a nightmare.

Mysterious algae
A tale by Sol Biolatto and Camila Previotto
Mary lived in the countryside, by an abandoned lake. She worked with professional
swimming pools, to get away from the city, she practiced every morning on the lake.
One day she was surprised to see that the water was moving, so she decided to dive
and see what was happening.
When she got to the bottom of the lake she only saw a couple of algae, but when she
observed carefully she saw that they were not what they seemed. Two red eyes were
looking at her, with sharp teeth and big tentacles. She screamed for help, but nobody
heard. She tried to escape but she could not, she was getting out of air. The monster
was slowly killing her.
It took her to the depths of the lake and little by little it was devouring her, the blood
gushed to the surface but nobody noticed. They never found her body.
A month later her parents lost hope of finding her.
ANEXO 17
MY OLD FRIEND
A tale by Simon Perotti and Carlos Sanchez
It was a rainy night and I was watching a horror movie, when I heard a knock, knock at
the door.
- Who it is? - I asked
- …
- Who it is? - I asked again
- …
I got up the couch and I opened the door, but I didn´t see anything.
I went back to the couch and there I saw, I saw my old friend. The strange thing is that
she died two years ago. In this house!
ANEXO 19
Persuasion and much more
A tale by Mateo Del Erba
Some time ago, there was a boy named Don. He was going to school one day and
when he was inside, he found an apple tied to an invisible nose, moving through
the corridor. He followed the fruit until he collided with two employees. They were
poor and they proposed to him the chance to be an actor to help them win a
competition and obtain some money. He wanted to be famous, important and rich.
His family was poor too. It was obvious he couldn’t leave his family, it was not easy,
but he wanted to be an important person more than anything in the world, more
than his family and his friends. So he went to New York with the two men to
participate in castings for fabulous movies. He triumphed. Don’s father was a
scientist and Don thought his wealth could help his father to have a better
laboratory to finally invent the invisibility formula. But when he became famous
and spoiled by people, he forgot his old life and about his family. He only thought
of money.
One day his family went to Hollywood to
visit him, but he rejected them, as
strangers. He became too greedy. Until one
day the two poor men he found at school,
they were businessmen now, told him they
were leaving and wanted their money. A
terrible fight started and the boy left the
studio with no money. He was poor and
alone. Walking in the winter rain he ran
into a man singing a song of not having
anyone, love or money. That reminded him
of old Don. He looked for somebody to help
him. He returned to his family, asking his
family for forgiveness and returned to his
normal life with his family and friends.

An elevator story
A tale by Daiana Albanessi
Lea walked into the lobby of her apartment building in Brooks East side and walked
to the elevator. Though she usually walked the eight flights of stairs up to her
apartment, she was exhausted after a long day of work and felt that she could
forget her exercise just this once.
She pressed the eighth floor button. A few moments later a hand stopped the door
from closing completely and a man rushed in, out of breath. He hit the eighth
button, unaware the Lead was heading the same floor too. The man smiled at her,
then put his earphones and became immerse in his own world.
The ride went on silently form a moment before the elevator stopped slowly, groaned
and became stuck. Lea sighed.
“I knew I should have taken the stairs”, she thought to herself. The man pulled one
earbud out and looked at her. “Is it stuck?”, he asked. Lea nodded. The stranger
hit the emergency button. “Looks like we are going to be here for a while”, he said.
A few minutes passed. Lea wondered how long it would be until the repairmen came
to get them out of the elevator. She was nervous, especially around attractive men.
And the man standing next to her, certainly was. She looked over at him. He was
a tall man, probably a year older that her, with short brown hair. Also brown were
his shoes. He was wearing and a t-shirt. “So simple and so fit”, she said to herself.
His hands were holding a briefcase. He suddenly looked away and started tapping
madly on his phone before looking at her again. His eyes were of an endless green
with a little bit of brow. “Well”, he said, “I don’t have any service so it looks like we
might be here for a while”. Lea nodded. “I’m Stephen, by the way”, he added,
“Stephen
McKinnon”. He
smiled and one
corner of his mouth
turned upwards. Lea
smiled back. “Lea
Beck”. He continued
to smile. “Pleasure to
be stuck here with
you”.
