Questions? Feedback? Ideas?
Carleton University is developing an Outdoor Space Master Plan to help better plan and develop outdoor spaces on the campus.
The document will help the university identify and prioritize outdoor improvements to the campus including:
• Future open space projects to develop green space
• Indigenous-focused elements
• Renovations to existing open spaces to make them more welcoming and multi-seasonal
• Develop a standard for street furniture and lighting
• New pedestrian bridge connection to Vincent Massey Park
• Sidewalks, paths and trails across the campus to enhance safety and access for pedestrians and cyclists
The Carleton Campus is located within the traditional and unceded territory of the Algonquin Nation. The Outdoor Space Master Plan committee acknowledges and honours the people who have lived on this land for thousands of years.
Consultation will be occurring throughout the process to make sure your thoughts are heard and expressed in the plan.
