is is a shortcut index to Pacific weather maps for those with limited bandwidth at sea. With a land connection you can download them all at once from the OPC—these are gifs that show directly in a browser, but they are large files. e images shown below are outdated thumbnails; to get latest products use the links provided. With an Internet connection the right-hand links download latest versions of the maps shown. When underway, the leſt-hand link sends an email to Saildocs requesting a reduced file size map from them. Remove all signatures from the mail. e body of the email must be blank except for the request generated by the link. Also for email requests underway, your high-seas email program should be selected as the computer’s default. Update times are UTC, fol- lowed by file size. These are tif files, which require a graphics viewer, but these are the smallest files available free from NWS. A special thanks to Saildocs for their wonderful service.
