Kids love nature-based playgrounds and our second installment is getting ever closer!

Researchers at the University of Western Australia have found the benefits of nature-based

playgrounds range from the development of gross motor skills, stimulation of imagination and

building of resilience. Natural, irregular and challenging spaces helps kids learn to assess and

navigate risk, as well as building their confidence and positive relationships with each other.

Easter Raffle and Colouring-In Competition

Thanks to the generosity of the Padbury PS community we raised a total of $709.50 that will

go to the new nature-based play equipment! The winner of the 1st place raffle prize was

Connor from room 10.

As many of you witnessed at the parade, the Easter Bonnet competition was fierce this year!

The winners were: Bianca (room 17), Nathan (room 15), Logan (room 14), Jai Tai (room 8) and

Eloise (room 10). We’d like to thank the judges: Jade Lori-Haggis, Tania Miltrup, Teri Tan and

Heather Longworth.

The winners of the colouring in competition were: Juliette (room 17), Coby (room 15), Rachel

(room 14), Jessie (room 8) and Oscar (room 10). Thanks to all who entered!

to come along in the morning to make a purchase.
