Live in the
BE BERLINLondon, Paris ... Berlin. Germany’s capital today holds
its position beside these other two cosmopolitan cities
as Europe’s most attractive city. The seat of government
is a magnet for about 140 million day visitors per year.
Worldwide it is one of the main destinations for city
tourism. Famous actors from the USA come not only to
the renowned film festivals, but also to film - or to live.
There’s no question: This city, which reinvented itself
after its wall fell, is now one of the world’s most mo-
dern metropolises while keeping its own face. A face
that captivates millions of people every year.

Metropol Theatre, Komische Oper, many banking ins-
titutions... historically, Behren Street is one of the most
significant for European academia and economics in
bygone times. „Goetz“ by Goethe and „Emilia Galotti“
by Lessing were performed here for the first time. The
people who have lived and worked here include Wil-
helm von Humboldt, Heinrich Heine, the banker carl
von Fuerstenberg, the charismatic author rahel Vern-
hargen, the storyteller Paul Heyse - and today, Gerhard
Schroeder also has his second home here. Shopping
malls such as the Galeries Lafayette and the Quartier
206 offer modern shopping standards right around the
corner. You can stop and rest wherever you feel like
it, in one of the many designer cafés and hangouts in
the area, or have dinner in Germany’s top restaurants.
Germany’s life plays out in front of the windows of the
Palais Theising - and you’re not only there, but right in
the middle of it.
CULTURE AND SHOPPING
THE FINEST
Behren Street breathes history. This traditional street of
banks, named after city constriction director Behr, em-
bodies all facets and façades of this metropolis so rich
in history. Along the street you will find the Embassy
of the russian Federation, the legendary Adlon hotel
and the Hotel de rome, the St. Hedwig cathedral and
Bebel Square. The many magnificent façades in the
neoclassical style tell of golden eras - at the old border
between the Brandenburg Gate and checkpoint char-
lie. There’s no place more exciting.
IN THE BEST COmPANy
BEHrEN STrEET, BErLIN
Behren Street represents the political, tourism, eco-
nomic and historical significance of Berlin. The Palais
Behrens is being built between the classicist corner
façade of the Palais Theising and the Embassy of the
State of Bavaria to the Federation. Beside the protected
and historically significant corner building of the Palais
Theising (Houses III & IV) we are building the pres-
tigious and highly modern office suites of the Palais
Behrens (Houses I & II) on a total of approx. 16,000m²
of gross floor area, in addition to 162 carparks in the
underground garage. This project will close a signifi-
cant gap and move us closer to the glamour due a ca-
pital city, with all the advantages offered by the centre.
Here you can expect to reside in an area with „people
of the world“ and maintain networking with city per-
sonalities such as rahel Varnhagen who once worked
here in her famous „Berlin Salon“. A tasteful and pres-
tigious interior will do its part, so that residents will
soon be able to say it themselves: „I’m a Berliner!“
