STEWARDSHIP OF PARISH RESOURCES

Financial OutlookThanks to conservative financial projections and prudent spending in 2016-2017, our parish finished the fiscal year $15,065 above

budget. Although our collection revenues fared above expectations, our total income for the year fell short of our projections. However, we were able to make significant reductions in our expenses particularly in the area of salaries and benefits. Thanks to the missionary spirit of our St. Martin’s Parish staff and the support of several All Saints Parish and School staff, we have been able to maintain our parish operations while keeping our expenses relatively low.

Looking Ahead: Projects for the Coming YearThe work of restoring, preserving, and improving our parish facilities continues in the fiscal year 2017-2018. Some of these

projects may involve significant capital expenditures, but are necessary for parish operations. Our parish hall/kitchen roof is due for replacement, and the parish hall is in need of re-siding. Repairs are much needed to the pavement and curbing in our parking lot. The church exterior trim is in need of a fresh coat of paint, and the water drainage system for the church and parish hall need attention.

This is not an exhaustive list of our upcoming parish projects, but this covers several of the major items we hope to address in the near future. Our facilities enable us to gather for worship, fellowship, and formation. We are hopeful that all parishioners can take part in ensuring that our parish is preserved for generations to come. We have been able to make many improvements over the past years. Your continuing support and participation is always needed and much appreciated.
