Twenty Second Sunday in Ordinary Time

Dear Parishioners and Friends, In today’s Gospel, Jesus turned to Peter and corrected him. Then, Jesus turned to his disciples and invited: “Whoever wishes to come after me must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me” (See Matthew 16: 21-27). One of the ways to follow Jesus is to sit with him in a special way. At Queen of Apostles, there is an opportunity to sit with him at the Eucharistic Adoration. Where: Daily Chapel When: Thursdays from 10:00 AM to 6:45 PM, starting right after 9:30 AM Mass Suggested Time: One hour each week This is a quiet time for meditation and for basking in Jesus’ divine presence. You may bring your Bible or other inspirational literature, rosary, journal, or nothing at all, but just the way you are. Drop-ins are always welcome, especially before or after parents volunteer hour at the school and before or after picking up your children. For signing up and any questions, please contact: Elaine Lahey at (408) 481-0550 or email her at [email protected] We are grateful to Elaine for coordinating this ministry. Thanks, Fr. Thuc

Are you interested in being an adorer? Is Jesus seeking you to sit with him for an hour?
