Dear parishioners, I have some very excing news to share with you. Last year we celebrated the 25th anniversary of Perpetual Adoraon of the Blessed Sacrament in our parish. This prayerful pracce connues to bring many blessings to our parish communi- ty. As a way of permanently commemorang and furthering our commitment to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament our parish has commissioned a beauful stained glass window for the back of the church which will be installed in the very near future. Not only will this window commemorate our 25th anniversary of adoraon but will beaufy our church and encourage devoon to Jesus. In addi- on the window will have the added benefit of diffusing the light on very sunny days. The total cost of the window is approximately £25,000 and I am asking for your help to pay for it. The window will be made up of 490 panes of stained glass which works out at about £50 per pane. Could you afford to pay for one or more panes? If so your help will be very much appreciated. At the back of the church you will see a picture of the window and I know you will be im- pressed! Beside the picture you will find envelopes in which you can place your donaon which can be placed in the collecon or returned directly to the parish office. If you are a taxpayer please do complete the Giſt Aid Declaraon. However, even if you are not a taxpayer please do print your name as I will offer a Mass for the intenons of all donors. Celebrang 100th Anniversary of Apparions of Our Lady of Fama From May unl October 2017 on the 13 day of each month there will be Mass celebrated at 7:30pm at St Anthony’s Church, Edg- ware in honour of Our Lady of Fama. In the fullness of me, God the Father sent his Son as the Redeemer and Saviour of mankind, fallen into sin, thus calling all into his Church and, through the work of the Holy Spirit, making them adopted children and heirs of his eter- nal happiness. First Holy Communion Programme 2017/18 There will be a meeng for parents, who have received an applicaon form from Fr. Robert, on Monday 9 October at 7.30pm in the Parish Centre. The first session for children will take place on Satur- day 14 October at 10am. Please can parents return applicaon forms to Debbie in the Parish Office by Thursday 5 October. Society of St Vincent de Paul There will be a collecon as we leave the church aſter Masses this weekend in support of the work done by the S.V.P. with local families and individuals experiencing hardship. Please be generous, enabling the good work of the S.V.P. among disadvantaged people. Thank you. Annunciaon Catholic Junior School, Edgware is holding a fundraising golf day at Mill Hill Golf Club on Saturday 23 September at 12 noon to raise funds for a new roof. New Stained Glass Window!! Dear parishioners, I have some very exciting news to share with you.
