New Stained Glass Window!! Dear parishioners, I have some very exciting news to share with you. Last year we celebrated the 25th anniversary of Perpetual Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in our parish. This prayerful practice continues to bring many blessings to our parish communi-ty. As a way of permanently commemorating and furthering our commitment to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament our parish has commissioned a beautiful stained glass window for the back of the church which will be installed in the very near future. Not only will this window commemorate our 25th anniversary of adoration but will beautify our church and encourage devotion to Jesus. In addi-tion the window will have the added benefit of diffusing the light on very sunny days. The total cost of the window is approximately £25,000 and I am asking for your help to pay for it. The window will be made up of 490 panes of stained glass which works out at about £50 per pane. Could you afford to pay for one or more panes? If so your help will be very much appreciated. At the back of the church you will see a picture of the window and I know you will be im-pressed! Beside the picture you will find envelopes in which you can place your donation which can be placed in the collection or returned directly to the parish office. If you are a taxpayer please do complete the Gift Aid Declaration. However, even if you are not a taxpayer please do print your name as I will offer a Mass for the intentions of all donors. Celebrating 100th Anniversary of Apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima From May until October 2017 on the 13 day of each month there will be Mass celebrated at 7:30pm at St Anthony’s Church, Edg-ware in honour of Our Lady of Fatima.

Society of St Vincent de Paul There will be a collection as we leave the church after Masses this weekend in support of the work done by the S.V.P. with local families and individuals experiencing hardship. Baptism Catholic parent/s with a child to be Baptised should meet with Fr Robert during Clergy Availability to talk about arrangements concerning the celebration of Baptism. In requesting Baptism, Catholic parents are reminded that they must be practising Catholics attending Saturday evening or Sunday Mass and will promise to bring up their children as Catholics. References for school and other applications are written during Clergy Availability. Forms need to be filled out in advance. Applications for a place in a Catholic School Application forms, including the Priest’s reference form, will be available from the schools to which applications are being made. This applies to nursery, infant, junior and secondary schools and sixth form colleges. Thinking of getting Married? At least six months’ notice is to be given to the Clergy to allow adequate time for spiritual, pastoral and administrative preparation, whether the marriage is to be in this parish or elsewhere.
