Each Christmas, we have the opportunity to support our priests through the Christmas collection that benefits the Clergy Health and Retirement Trust. With the goal of ensuring the health and well-being of the 564 priests in good standing , the rust offers preventive health and wellness programs, offers one-on one support and advocacy to priests with health concerns, and operates Regina Cleri, a state-of-the-art facility where senior priests live in community

stronger communities for all, by making a gift to the Clergy
Health and Retirement Trust at clergytrust.org or by giving
generously to this year’s Christmas collection.
This special collection is a primary source of funding to care
for our priests. Your generosity is very much appreciated.
Funds from this special collection are managed by the Clergy Health and Retirement Trust-an independently managed trust with a majority lay board of trustees. The funds are used for the sole benefit of active and senior priests in good standing.

There will be a Christmas concert, this Sunday, December 22, at St. Thomas of Villanova Church at 3:00 PM. It is a great way to start the Christmas week.
The 4:00 PM Mass on Christmas eve in St. Thomas of Vil-lanova Church will start as soon as the church is full. The overflow will be directed to Villanova Hall where the Mass will begin at 4:00 PM. Some people asked why we have two 4:00 PM Masses at St. Thomas. The answer is that the 4:00 PM Masses are the most popular. The St. Thomas of Villanova church and hall hold more people than St. Doro-thy’s church or hall.
The Christmas collection goes to the Clergy Fund which funds the health and retirement needs of the priests of the Archdiocese of Boston. Thank you for your support. Speaking of health needs, Fr. Tully is having his left knee replaced in early January. He will not be saying Mass for a while.
If your plans for Christmas call for travel, may the roads be clear and the trains, planes and buses run on time.

The Youth Group hosted their fourth annual St. Nicholas Night on 12/6. Fifty-two children attended and they re-ceived a special visit from St. Nicholas. The students did a nativity craft, made a gingerbread house, watched a nativity video, had a story time and sang Christmas carols. Special thanks to our Youth Group, singers Ava Sarno and Juliana Patrone, our pianist Lindsay Kane and our faith formation staff who made this a memorable night for all!
