Leveraging partnerships to deliver contextual and relevant benefits to partners and enterprises

Sankalp Forum is presently in discussion with USAID to support the South-East Asia Forum

as a Founding Partner. This support will enable Sankalp’s efforts to build an entrepreneur

ecosystem by sourcing and showcasing early stage enterprises with the objective of

facilitating investments. It will also support building of an effective South-South knowledge

and innovation corridor. One important element of this support would be to support women impact businesses and catalyze invests in women-led businesses.

Aavishkaar’s USD 60-75 million Frontier Fund (AFF) aims to invest in enterprises serving the

low income population in underserved geographies of South & South East Asia; Focus

countries include Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia & Sri Lanka. Through the partnership,

AFF will support the program by evaluating the participating enterprises for potential

investments across sectors such as Affordable Healthcare & Education, Water & Sanitation,

Food & Agri Services, Energy, Technology, Housing and Livelihoods

Select Sankalp Partnerships

Sankalp Forum is looking at a strategic partnership with UKAID to support the South-East

Asia Forum as a Founding Partner. UKAID has been an instrumental Founding Partner for

replicating Sankalp in East Africa. It will also support building of an effective South-South

knowledge and innovation corridor, and further conversations and outcomes for women-owned businesses.

Sankalp Forum is currently scoping additional partnerships in the region that will allow it to create a multi-stakeholder, locally relevant convening year on year, while bringing its best practices and replicating successes from India and Africa.
