Stiftung Pro UKBB: The foundation of the university children’s hospital in Basle attracts the right attention at charity events with cute cuddly animals. University Hospital of Munich and the ‘Das Neue Hauner’ foundation: Dr. Pingi from Steiff originated from an art contest. For every cuddly animal sold, a portion goes directly to the foundation and helps build the new Dr. von Haunersche children’s hospital.

Stiftung Deutsche Krebshilfe: Maari®, the mascot for the German Children’s Cancer Aid, was developed by the organisation after its foundation in 1996, together with Margarete Steiff GmbH. Maari® is given to children’s cancer wards to bring comfort and hope to those affected. Thanks to many generous donations, some 17,000 children with cancer have been brought great joy by the ‘Giving comfort with Maari®’ initiative since its launch.
Doing some good: the development of an irresistibly adorable soft toy for a good cause was an honour for us.
