Project Background
Township of Langley’s Pavement Management History• Pavement Management System Installed in 2002/2003;• The last full Pavement Condition Surveys were conducted in:
– 2005 MRN Roads (TransLink);
– 2007 Major Roads (Arterial, Collector & Grid roads);
– 2005 & 2006 Local roads (Minor roads).
The objectives of this study are:• Update analysis to reflect current construction pricing;• Analysis of Major, local and MRN roads;• Determine the optimal annual funding level that will indefinitely sustain the quality and value of the pavement network; and • Integrate all pavement condition and analysis results in the Township’s GIS;• Update the City’s in-house systems to incorporate latest work.
