In today’s networked world all barriers & boundaries have become irrelevant. Human talent has become highly mobile. Both people & organizations want to be “the best”, work for the “best”, have “the best” at their command & keep on excelling further.

So, the competition is with the others beyond your country as much as with your own self. “Excel or Perish” is the governing principle. To withstand these modern demands & to ensure that one does not become “obsolete”, one needs to train continuously across various dimensions & develop & sustain a level of competence & ability that will be in demand. GT understands this individual & organizational need to the core. It believes in being an integral part of the process of human capital & organizational development & has on offer various programmes & services to meet precisely this need.

There are some others who, irrespective of the material outcomes, want to improve themselves, a process called “self-actualization”. Such individuals now seek continuous training & development to satisfy their own inner urge.

At GT, we welcome both types of people, understand their needs and aspirations and then offer them our hand to guide them to a level of development that ensures that they reach their goals and aspirations resulting in a satisfied individual/organization.

GT strives continuously to improve the quality of Vocational Education and training to nurture the talent of our learners to enable them to embark upon a successful career. Our team endeavors to achieve this objective through a proper blend of high conceptual and practical skills supported by excellent infrastructure, teaching methodology, research, consultancy, and commitment to a Quality Management System.

To accomplish this, GT is committed to: Achieving quality outcomes, both onshore and offshore, through the use of quality assurance and perpetual improvement approach which is based on improving on what we do and demonstrating that we are achieving objectives set out in strategic plans and policies. It is based on the Deming Cycle in which there are four phases known as Plan, Do, Check, and Act (PDCA); Contributing to the growth of vocational and professional education and training and upholding the highest ethical and professional standards; Serving society to lead to its enrichment and advancement; Empowering employees and faculty by training and development to improve their efficiency and stated objectives.

Through, GT has successfully acquired Quality Management System in the ISO 9001-2008 in February2012 – Scope of Registration “Design and Provision of Training & Consultancy Services” Certificate No.: AJAEU/12/12652 to systematically standardize its processes in customizing and delivering its training services. Also, GT has successfully been audited by the National Authority for Qualifications & Quality Assurance of Education and Training (NAQQAET) in the first and second cycle mandatory review.

What is OFQUAL?

The  Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual) is a non-ministerial government department that regu-lates qualifications, exams and tests in England and vocational qualifications in Northern Ireland.

Units Build up to Qualifications

There are three different types of qualification in the QCF: Award, Certificate and Diploma. You can achieve an Award with 1 to 12 credits; for a Certificate you will need 13 – 36 credits and for a Diploma you will need at least 37 credits. Units and qualifications are each given a level according to their difficulty, from en-try level to level 8. The title of a qualification will tell you its size and level.

Rules & Credits Value

Qualifications that use the QCF rules are made up of units. This provides flexible ways to get a qualification. Each unit has a credit value which tells you how many credits are awarded when a unit is completed. The credit value also gives an indication of how long it will normally take you to prepare for a unit or qual-ification.  One credit will usually take you 10 hours of learning.

Qualifications Recognition

10

How do they Regulate?

The main way they regulate is by setting the standards and rules that awarding organisations need to meet when they design, de-liver and award regulated qualifications. They monitor awarding organisations and qualifications to make sure that standards are maintained.

As well as awarding organisations and qualifications, they look at the whole qualifications and exams system. They investigate and do research to make sure the system is fit for purpose. They also regulate the National Curriculum assessments and the Early Years Foundation Stage assessments.

Qualification & Credit Framework (QCF)

The National Qualifications Framework (NQF) and Qual-ifications and Credit Framework (QCF) set out the levels against which a qualification can be recognised in Eng-land, Wales and Northern Ireland. The European Qual-ifications Framework (EQF) provides a way to compare the level of qualifications across different countries and systems in Europe, making them easy to understand.

Recognition of Prior Learning & Credit Transfer

If a qualification includes a unit that you have already been awarded, you can use the unit you have already taken towards that qualification. Units awarded by different awarding organisa-tions can be combined to build up qualifications.

The brain is the source of all human behaviour. It stores our memories, en-ables us to feel emotions, gives us our personalities and produces the be-haviours that enable us to survive and achieve success - in short; it makes us who we are. Although genes set boundaries for human behaviour, with-in these boundaries there is immense room for individual variation. Now, thanks to great advances in brain imaging technology, scientists can watch the brain at work and in great detail and are uncovering many of its secrets.

For all of us, that discovery is really good news. The adult brain can and does, adapt, develop and change even into old age. This means that edu-cation, learning and development take on a whole new level of importance. Neuroscience has also shown us that people tend to be most motivated and successful when they use and are rewarded for using their own natural, preferred behaviour.

This highlights the importance of matching people with the right jobs - do-ing those things they enjoy and do best. In simple terms, the better the fit between the person and the job, the better the performance. The best recruitment results from paying attention to three factors:

What the person likes to do most | What the person does best What adds greatest value to the organisation.

PRISM is powerful profiling tool designed specifically for today’s fast mov-ing world. Highly visual and easy to understand, PRISM identifies human behaviour and provides an exciting way to enhance business performance. The PRISM suite of tools provides a complete ‘one stop’ Cost effective business solution. No other tool is so versatile, or so practical; from recruit-ment through to leadership, from teambuilding through to enhancing sales and customer service. PRISM adds real value.

Most of us have some knowledge about ourselves and our behavioural pref-erences. However, this picture tends to be fragmented and few people really have an accurate and comprehensive view of themselves.

PRISM BrainMapping

The PRISM Suite of Tools

The core of the PRISM system is an easy-to-use, online inventory which can be completed in approximately 20 minutes.

Drawing on the latest discoveries in Neuroscience this information is used to generate a comprehensive range of maps and reports which can be specifically tailored to suit your needs. For example: The PRISM Pro profile (above) shows behavioural preferences on colour quadrants with two dimensions in each quadrant - a total of eight dimensions, all on a scale of 1-100. The three coloured lines or .maps. (Red, Burgundy and Blue) on the profile reflect an individual's Underlying, Adapted and Consistent behaviour. The strong visual nature of this information makes it easily understood and provides the candidate with a comprehensive picture of their natural behaviour (Underlying), how they are flexing their behaviour to suit the needs of their role (Adapted) and how they are likely to behave most of the time (Consistent). Areas of natural preference challenge and untapped potential can be easily identified from just this one profile.

By tailoring the profile online at the output stage, different 'maps' can be produced to reflect your needs. For recruitment and selection, for example, a benchmark map can be inserted so that a particular role can be 'mapped' against an individual.s preference, this provides a remarkably accurate reflection of an individual's suitability for the role.

Mental Toughness - 2 DaysThere is widespread, growing interest in understanding the relationship between behavioural preferences and business success, and research has identified a cluster of nine behavioural strengths, or competencies, that are linked to both mental toughness and peak leadership per-formance. The PRISM Mental Toughness Inventory measures a candidate’s preference for each of those behaviours. They include: self-belief, ambition, resilience, self-management, optimism, determination, independence, competitiveness and adaptability. The PRISM Mental Toughness Inventory is an exciting advance in the ability to measure the building blocks that are scientifically linked to business success.

Conflict Resolution - 2 DaysResponding to conflict at the workplace or even between friends can be difficult in many cases, In many cases; conflict in the workplace just seems to be a fact of life. We have all experience in being or witnessing situations where different people with different goals and needs have come into conflict. The fact that conflict exists, however, it should not be always considered as a bad thing if it is being resolved effectively, as doing so can lead to personal and professional growth. In many cases, effective conflict resolution can make the difference between positive and neg-ative outcomes.

Big FIVE Traits - 2 DaysThe Five-Factor Model, also known as ‘The Big Five’, is probably the most widely accepted and used model of personality in the world. The ‘Big Five’ traits are: Extraversion; Agreeableness; Conscientiousness; Emotional Stability (the opposite of Neuroticism); Openness to Experience. These traits appear to account for most differences among individual personalities, describing five universal dimensions. During the course and based on the PRISM report findings, learners will explore the importance of understanding the Big Five Traits to their own benefit in order to achieve both personal and career success.

Customer Service Excellence with Emotional Intelligence - 3 DaysThe level of customer service provided by an organization is the key to business success, as today’s customers expectations are higher than that expected or provided a few years ago. Therefore, it is crucial to understand what customers perceive as an exceptional customer ser-vice in order to exceed their expectations. In order to exceed customer’s expectations, customer service personnel must understand their own abilities, areas of strengths and areas for devel-opment in order to reach targeted goals. Emotional Intelligence is a key factor to understanding THE BIG FIVE personality dimensions as detailed by The British Psychological Society “BPS”.

Career and Personal Development - 3 DaysIt is important to learn more about self and behavior preferences, so that we are able to exploit our strengths to the best advantage and also minimize the likely impact of those strengths if they are overdone. The more we understand how we approach situations, the better we will be able to work to our full potential and make decisions that result in greater satisfaction.

Using PRISM Professional Report, delegates will be able to understand where they are standing and how to improve on skills and competencies required within their career and how to improve on social skills. In addition to PRISM's eight behaviour dimensions, the report identifies and measures 26 key aspects of work preference. This information will allow you to make many links between your natural behavior preferences and your work behaviour.

Communicate with Emotional Intelligence - 2 DaysRecent studies indicate that Emotional Intelligence (EQ) influences behaviour in a wide range of domains including school, community, and the workplace. At the individual level, it is believed to relate to academic achievement, work performance, our ability to communicate effectively, solve everyday problems, build meaningful interpersonal relationships, and even our ability to make moral decisions. Given that emotional intelligence has the potential to increase our understand-ing of how individuals behave and adapt to their social environment, it is an important topic for study as an overall part of human behaviour.
