Presentations will include case-based discussion to emphasize important points and concepts. The two optional Pediatric Airway and Capnography Workshops provide “hands-on” tutorage under the one-on-one oversight of expert instructors. Afternoon sessions will offer two separate tracks. A dedicated curriculum is offered to address the unique challenges of dental sedation and designed to meet the requirements of the Dental Board of California toward the Oral Conscious Sedation Certifica-tion renewal and of the New York State Dental Board for approved continuing education towards Dental Anesthesia/Sedation Certification.

This year we are proud and honored to present a two-part (morning and afternoon) series of dental sedation options. The morning of didactics is specifically focused on sedation for pediatric dentistry. The afternoon will include five interactive, high-fidelity dental simulation scenarios. Each simulation scenario is specifically tailored to and designed from real-life medico-legal and office-based sedation events. This two-part offering, A Comprehensive Approach to Pediatric Dental Sedation: The Didactics and Dental Simulation requires registration for both sessions: the morning didactics and afternoon simulation. Alternatively, attendees may choose to register separately for only one of the sessions (morning or afternoon), enabling them the opportunity to cycle back into the weekend workshop.
