• Tiene sujeto y verbo it has a subject and a verb

• Tiene un punto al fin it has a period at the end

• La primera letra está con mayúscula the first letter is capitalized

• Los adjetivos combinan con los sustantivos the adjectives match the noun

• Las palabras están en orden correcto the words are in the correct order

Tiene sujeto y verbo it has a subject and a verb

• Sujeto: persona, lugar, cosa, o idea person, place, thing or idea

• Verbo: acción que el sujeto hace action that the subject does

The subject is not always written separately because conjugated verbs show what the subject is

Example: hablo -- yo hablo

• When you write a statement, the verb can go before or after the subject– Buen ejemplo: Va al cine Jamal.

Jamal va al cine.• When you write a negative statement, “no” goes
