CORPUS CHRISTI PROCESSION

SUNDAY, MAY 29TH Join us as we process with Jesus to St. John’s immediately

LOVE LIFE DIAPER DRIVE St. Francis Xavier Cathedral will be participating in Love

Life Diaper Drive now through Fathers Day. Love Life

distributes diapers to families every Thursday from two

locations in the area. It is important for families to keep

their infants and toddlers comfortable, with an adequate

supply of dry diapers. The cost of diapers makes this

difficult for many low income families. There will be a

collection box near the elevator in the Bishop Wycislo

Center lobby. Your generosity is appreciated.

PRAYER CORNER

Come, Holy Ghost, Creator blest,

and in our souls take up Thy rest;

come with Thy grace and heavenly aid

to fill the hearts which Thou hast made.

Have you ever gone to someone's house, been invited in,

but found no place to sit because the chairs or couch

were covered with stuff? You had no place to rest

because there was no room. This week, take time to pray

the words of this ancient hymn of Pentecost paying close

attention to the words where we ask the Holy Spirit to

"take up Thy rest" in our souls. Is there space for God to

take up His rest in you? What fills your heart these days?

Holy Spirit, help us see what we need to let go of to

make more room for you!

“TEACH MY PEOPLE

How is life and work? It is so exciting to have Fr. Rocky

and was in Nigeria for his funeral, please help me to

remember him in your prayers. My warm regards to the

Black and Native American Missions-exist to help

diocesan communities to build the church and preach the

Gospel of Jesus among the Native American, African

American and Alaska Native people of God in the U.S.

evangelization in dioceses where these communities exist.

In our Diocese, we annually receive a grant from this

collection to assist parishes in Neopit & Keshena in their

outreach and service to People of the First Nation

(Menominee Indian Tribe).

of America is the national University of the Catholic

Church in the United States, located in Washington, D.C. It

provides an academically rigorous education guided by the

Catholic intellectual tradition to nearly 7,000 students every

Holy Spirit, make my heart open to God's Word so that my

heart might be open to good, so that my heart might be

open to God's beauty every day. ~Pope Francis

Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle

in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit, and

they shall be created. and You shall renew the face of the

earth. O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did

instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same

Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His

consolations. Through Christ Our Lord. Amen.
