Testing the Hypotheses

Building Blocks Testing

Customer Segments Center for Ocean Solutions; EPA; various industries

Value Propositions Center for Ocean Solutions; EPA; various industries

Key Partnerships Contact has been made with BASF; still to explore other potential manufacturers

Key Resources Seek partnerships with precursor suppliers

Key Activities IP portfolio validation, prototyping

Key Resources Use NDAs to talk to potential partners, expand R&D facilities

Channels Following on establishing partnerships

Cost Structure Assessing partners and in-house development efforts and product demonstrations

Revenue Streams Use surveys on current remediation costs, assess IP strengths

Market Size Estimates

• Total available market for water and wastewater treatment (across 40 countries)

In 2011 was at $57b

In 2016 is projected to reach $93b

• Served Available Market is the treatment chemicals market that is $18b

• Target Market – oil pollution remediation (petroleum and fat oils and greases) about $10b

What changed was that we received feedback on further uses for our technology and we modified our customer segments and market size accordingly

We also realized there is no market for leasing our product
